New dad Olly Murs downs a beer as he enjoys a day out at the Darts World Championship before Christmas

Olly Murs was seen enjoying a beer while attending the Paddy Power Darts World Championship at Alexandra Palace in London on Tuesday.

The 41-year-old singer, who became a father again in September with his wife Amelia, seemed cheerful as he stood to enjoy his beer, receiving cheers from the crowd.

New father Olly wore a fun Christmas sweater decorated with a darts theme, featuring the phrase ‘You miss, you drink’ on the front.

Olly Murs, the singer behind ‘The Troublemaker,’ enthusiastically supported England’s Ryan Meikle during his match against New Zealand’s Jonny Tata in the second round of the championship, raising his arms in excitement.

Olly looked worlds away from parenting life as he enjoyed the boozy day out with friends.

This follows Olly’s recent confession about the difficulty of being separated from his young son, Albert.

The couple have two children: 19-month-old Madison and her baby brother, Albert, who was born in September.

I was chatting on Heart Breakfast recently, and I shared something pretty personal. I made a promise to my wife, Amelia, that this year, I’m really focusing on being more present for our kids. It’s so easy to get caught up in everything, but family is what truly matters, and I want to make sure I’m really there for them.

Olly recently released a new album called Knees Up and has been actively promoting it.

He appeared on the radio show with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston to talk about the challenges of balancing fatherhood with his work.

Olly explained: ‘The last few weeks I’ve said to Amelia, “It’s been really tough.”‘

I’ve been busy lately! First, I was promoting my album, which was released last week. Then came this, and now I’m releasing a Christmas song.

I told her, “I promise, sweetheart, things will be calmer next year, and I’ll be around much more—which you’ll probably end up disliking even more.”

Last month, Olly publicly complimented his wife, Amelia, for confidently posing in underwear to celebrate her body after having their second child. He called her ‘unbelievable’.

Amelia looked amazing in a recent Instagram post, holding her new baby and showing off her post-pregnancy body.

The bodybuilder expressed deep gratitude for her body and shared that she was proud of the progress she’d made and the person she had become.

Olly showed his love for Amelia by leaving sweet comments on her posts, making it clear how much he adores her.

He wrote: ‘Two beautiful kids, one unbelievable, incredible wife x I’m a lucky lucky man xx’

Amelia shared a video and a heartfelt message expressing gratitude for her body. She thanked it for carrying and birthing her two children, and for continuing to support her every day. She’s incredibly thankful for the changes her body went through to bring her babies into the world.

She expressed pride in who she is now and shared her excitement about regaining her fitness and strength when she feels ready.

The couple announced Amelia’s second pregnancy in April.

Olly and his wife, a fitness enthusiast, got married in July 2023 and welcomed their daughter on April 17, 2024.

Olly previously left home only two days after his daughter Amelia was born to tour with Take That. This time, he’s promised to be much more involved as a new father.

The singer shared with the audience that being a new parent meant a lot of sleepless nights and diaper changes, and he felt bad about being away from his family for work.

It’s been a really wild time lately. I’m thrilled to have a baby girl, and my wife is doing an amazing job at home taking care of her – dealing with diapers and all the sleepless nights that come with it.

‘And I’m on tour with Take That. I feel guilty!’

Olly openly admitted he cried when he had to leave his daughter just two days after she was born.
