Ever since Amazon acquired MGM Studios for a whopping $8.45 billion, the future direction of their franchise, which includes James Bond films produced alongside Eon Productions, has been uncertain.

According to the agreement, Barbara Broccoli and her half-brother Michael G Wilson were set to maintain creative control. However, as reported by the Wall Street Journal, when asked about the deal a year ago, she was quoted as saying to her friends: ‘They’re utterly clueless.’
