Never Say Never
Vogue Williams mentioned that she might consider revisiting a brothel, saying “I guess anything’s possible” when sharing her story.
In the most recent installment of her fresh podcast titled “Vogue & Amber,” the 39-year-old television host confided in her sibling, Amber Wilson, about an unintended adventure that led her to a house of ill repute while on a boisterous excursion to Amsterdam.
Reflecting on her adventure, she shared: “In Amsterdam, it so happened that I ended up, no joke, inside a house of ill repute.” To which Amber playfully retorted: “Ah, sounds like you visited the infamous Red Light District!
Vogue promptly corrected the misconception by stating: ‘No, it wasn’t in the Red-Light District. An acquaintance of ours, rather unmentionable for being too lively, simply mentioned that we had to attend a party there.’
She added: “I responded, ‘No, it seems we’re heading back home.’ Moving on, we all piled into the car and made our way to a typical residence in an ordinary neighborhood for a gathering.
Step inside, and lo and behold, a grand bar catches my eye. I exclaimed, “Hold on a moment, this spot is fantastic, it feels like home!” But upon further inspection, I realized with a start that what I had initially thought was a charming establishment, was in fact, a brothel!
As a seasoned lifestyle advisor, I’d say the scene has significantly evolved in that area, particularly when it comes to the Red Light District and its associated elements.
She mentioned: “I recall going there for many years, and it used to be quite different, but it’s not really my vibe anymore, if you get what I mean?
Vogue conceded, “I wouldn’t want to return to a brothel, but one can never rule things out completely. Truth be told, everyone was extremely welcoming and kind.
Last month, it was uncovered that she had broken her “Dry January” commitment when she attended a child’s birthday party, without informing her husband, Spencer Matthews, about it.
In a recent update, the individual known for his roles in Made in Chelsea and hailing from Ireland, aged 36, who got married in 2018, disclosed that they are venturing into separate business endeavors following the launch of their hit podcast, Spencer & Vogue, over four years back.
Yet, starting on this new professional journey, it appears that Vogue was unable to resist Vogue’s small jubilation, as she confessed to indulging in copious amounts of champagne at a gathering, contrary to their mutual decision to abstain from alcohol during Dry January.
In a recent installment of their fresh podcast, Vogue & Amber, it appears that the TV host’s sister revealed that her sibling had allegedly violated Dry January.
Amber playfully questioned her sister Vogue: “I’ve had a pretty quiet week, as opposed to certain others who aren’t sticking to ‘Dry January.’ How about you, Vogue?
Vogue replied: “Thanks for asking, Amber. To be honest, I ended up in a tricky predicament, and it turned out to be a children’s birthday party at The Dorchester.
Surprised to hear about it, Amber asked, “Did someone actually hold a child’s birthday party at The Dorchester?” upon learning that Vogue was indeed serving Veuve champagne.
She exclaimed: “They were pouring Veuve champagne! And in that moment, I contemplated what Sandra might do.”
This version maintains the original meaning while using more conversational language and a slight rephrasing of the second sentence to convey thought rather than speech.
Amber cheekily quipped: ‘She’d let those bubbles tickle her nose that’s what she’d do.’
In an open and casual manner, Vogue admitted, “I simply couldn’t resist a glass of sparkling wine. It was like stumbling upon complimentary Veuve Clicquot – I just couldn’t help myself and said ‘Count me in!’ And let’s just say I indulged in four or five glasses.
Instead of saying “It wasn’t a short amount of champagne, it was flowing!”, you could say “The champagne flowed freely, not in small quantities!”
For the second part, instead of “It was actually a great party even before I had the champagne.”, you could say “The party was fantastic long before the champagne started flowing.”
Lastly, for the closing line, instead of “Well done to the parents!”, you could express gratitude by saying “Kudos to the parents for such an amazing event!
Amber commended herself, saying, “I did well by keeping up with Dry January!” Her sister playfully replied, “We’ll see about that!
As a lifestyle connoisseur, allow me to clarify a personal preference: I tend to overlook such instances, and here’s why. In this case, it was champagne – a beverage of refined elegance – if it had been prosecco, my actions might have been different.
Next, I returned home and enjoyed a cup of decaffeinated tea. Interestingly, Spencer remains unaware that I’ve broken Dry January; I didn’t deceive him, I simply chose not to inform him.
