As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for pop culture and Netflix originals, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the news that Lady Gaga is joining the cast of Wednesday! The first season was a delightful spin on a classic, and with Gaga’s unique talent and charisma, I can only imagine what Season 2 has in store.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve become part of the stellar cast for the second season of ‘Wednesday’, a show being filmed right now in the emerald landscapes of Ireland!
In Tim Burton’s Netflix show, modeled after Charles Addams’ creation, The Addams Family’s daughter, Jenna Ortega will be the main character opposite a performer who sings and acts.
Details of Gaga’s role are being kept under wraps.
Premiered in 2022, the series shared a connection with Gaga well before she came to be part of it.
In the first season, the main character, Ortega, displays some impressive dance steps at the Nevermore school dance, dancing to a reworked version of Lady Gaga’s hit track, “Bloody Mary”.
The scene went viral, prompting fans of the show to reuse the track on TikTok and other social media platforms.
Wednesday streams on Netflix. Season 2 is in production.
