Netflix’s ‘Secrets We Keep’ Scores 100% on Rotten Tomatoes—Must-Watch Thriller!

If you’re among those seeking an exhilarating new television series, I recommend giving “Secrets We Keep” a look. This intriguing show recently debuted on Netflix and has maintained a flawless critical rating.

Currently, the film “Secrets We Keep” boasts a perfect 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While not every viewer may agree, the audience score is still considered fresh at 73%. This Danish series follows the narrative of a young au pair who disappears in a Copenhagen suburb, as a wealthy family grapples with the aftermath of a missing persons case that involves their neighbors.

Critics are urging people to take a look at the show, as Pramit Chatterjee from his reviews describes it as an “excellent companion piece” to Adolescence. In addition, he considers Secrets We Keep to be necessary viewing for everyone.

According to Archi Sengupta, the series “Secrets We Keep” grabs your focus right from the start, and the unexpected twists and turns it takes are truly exhilarating.

Secrets We Keep delves into themes reminiscent of this year’s cult favorites, Adolescence and The White Lotus, and manages to tackle its grim subject matter with a certain finesse that sets it apart,” suggests a review by Samuel R. Murrian.

Critic Kshitij Rawat pointed out that while “Secrets We Keep” follows the common themes of suburban enigmas (disappeared girls, close-knit neighborhoods, smug wealthy residents, well-manicured lawns concealing decaying secrets), it transforms these elements into something much more personal and ethically troubling.

The New Netflix Series Is Recommended by Critics

The series titled “Secrets We Keep” was developed by Ingeborg Topsøe, who also worked on “Wildland” and “Hanna“. Per Fly (“Borgen“) directed this production, while the writing team consisted of Ina Bruhn (“Darkness: Those Who Kill“) and Mads Tafdrup (). The main cast includes Marie Bach Hansen (“The Legacy“), Simon Sears (“Shadow and Bone“), Lars Ranthe (“Another Round“), Danica Curcic (“The Chestnut Man“), Excel Busano, Frode Bilde Rønsholt, Lukas Zuperka, Sara Fanta Traore, and Donna Levkovski.

In one of the wealthier areas near Copenhagen, almost every family employs an au pair from the Philippines, and Cecilie (Bach Hansen) and her husband Mike are no different. Their valued au pair, Angel (Busano), assists with numerous household tasks, including helping their young son fall asleep each night. Similarly, Cecilie and Mike’s neighbors Rasmus (Ranthe) and Katarina (Curcic) also have an au pair – a friend of Angel’s named Ruby (Levkovski).

The show’s summary mentions that “One day, Ruby disappears, and after inquiring about Ruby’s location from Rasmus and Katarina, Cecilie becomes worried that they could be connected to whatever happened to her. As Cecilie continues her investigation into the mystery, she starts to suspect that there might be more individuals within her close circle involved than she is comfortable acknowledging.

Secrets We Keep is streaming on Netflix.
