Netflix’s Peaky Blinders movie gets exciting update with new behind-the-scenes look
As a die-hard fan who’s lived and breathed Peaky Blinders since its inception, the news of the upcoming film has sent waves of exhilaration coursing through me! The behind-the-scenes sneak peek only fuels my anticipation for this masterpiece.
The highly anticipated Netflix movie based on ‘Peaky Blinders’ has been updated with intriguing backstage insights, providing fans a sneak peek.
The movie, named “The Immortal Man“, picks up where the final episode of a well-known TV series left off, focusing on the Shelby family amidst World War II.
Details about the upcoming project titled “The Immortal Man” are still scarce, as its release date remains undetermined. However, it’s been disclosed that filming has been completed and a sneak peek behind the scenes shows Cillian Murphy portraying his renowned character, Tommy Shelby.
The latest addition to the team is Barry Keoghan, as demonstrated by this photo where they both are seen grinning at one another during filming.
“The filming for Peaky Blinders is officially done! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all, especially our fantastic cast and hardworking crew.
All of Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck are set to rejoin the cast for the highly-awaited movie sequel.
In addition to Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycurgo, these individuals have been revealed as the cast members joining the project thus far.
Prior to the premiere of “28 Years Later,” the film’s leading actor, Murphy, shared that he’s been revisiting the popular BBC series.
He told GQ: “Since I started producing – I was a producer on Peaky – you kind of have to. It kind of takes the curse off of it. It was very nice watching it, because it was actually quite a good show.”
The actor portraying Oppenheimer went on to say: “It was equally sorrowful since I was observing Helen McCrory, and she passed away.
However, you can step back and observe, commenting, ‘Ah, this is the ambiance we aim for. This is the visual style required, this is the shape, and this is the vitality we need from it.’ For the film, we need to amplify these aspects, clearly.
The movie is penned by the original series mastermind, Stephen Knight, with Tom Harper at the helm for its direction. Tom Harper previously directed multiple episodes during the first season.
The film adaptation of The Immortal Man has not been scheduled for release yet.
