Netflix’s new series has been dedicated to the “glorious” Liam Payne with special tribute
The recently debuted Netflix series, titled “Building the Band“, is specifically devoted to the memory of the late Liam Payne, and includes a heartfelt tribute to honor his musical legacy.
In the forthcoming competition, where fifty vocalists battle it out from separate stages with the ultimate goal of forming a band while remaining unseen, Payne assumes the role of judge, teaming up with Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland.
Prior to his sad passing, Payne had recorded his appearances as a guest judge. The program, which released its initial four episodes on Netflix, took time to confer with the singer’s family before proceeding with the broadcast.

In an interview with Deadline, executive Cat Lawson stated that the singing competition would open with a tribute to Payne, expressing, “It’s fitting that we dedicate this show to him.
Regarding Payne’s performance, she expressed: “Everyone adored him, and I believe he was simply fantastic on stage.
Speaking candidly about the profound impact of Payne’s passing, Lawson stated, “On productions like ours, you form strong bonds with people very swiftly. He was an extraordinary individual, and none of us could have predicted this unfortunate event.
This past week, Ruth Gibbins, Payne’s sister, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories, expressing her sadness that her brother would miss witnessing his incredible talents shine in the upcoming series.
Last year, at the age of 31, Payne met an unfortunate end when he fell from a balcony at his Argentinian hotel. After this tragic incident, his ex-bandmates from One Direction honored him by issuing a heartfelt tribute, referring to him as their “brother.
As a devoted fan, I’m utterly heartbroken by the tragic news about Liam. In due course, when we’re all ready, there will be more to express. For now, I choose to honor his memory by taking time to grieve and deeply feel the void left by our beloved brother, who was so precious to us.
We’ll always cherish the moments we spent together with him. At this moment, our thoughts go out to his family, friends, and admirers who adored him along with us. He will be deeply missed. Love to you, Liam.
