Netflix is building anticipation for its upcoming horror series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, with a new trailer released in the spirit of Friday the 13th. The trailer promises a seriously suspenseful experience when the show premieres in March.

The upcoming drama, created by Haley Z. Boston and featuring Hilary, Matt, and Ross Duffer (of Stranger Things), is being described as a horror story about a woman’s journey into marriage. Camila Morrone will play the bride who has reservations about tying the knot.

The horror series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, creates a chilling atmosphere as it follows a bride and groom during the week before their wedding. The title itself hints at the dark events to come, so it’s not giving anything away to say things won’t go as planned.

In the film, Morrone stars as Rachel, who travels with her fiancé, Nicky (played by Adam DiMarco). However, Rachel is deeply superstitious and anxious, and she has a growing sense that something terrible is about to occur.

A growing sense of dread, strange coincidences, and unsettling surprises lead her to wonder what truly connects two people as soulmates. But even more frightening, she begins to consider the terrifying possibility of spending a lifetime with the wrong person.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen will release on Netflix on 26 March.
