With Netflix nearing the end of 2025, the platform has another hit on its hands – a new Korean drama. This K-drama thriller is quickly gaining popularity with viewers around the globe, becoming the latest in the genre to succeed on Netflix.

The K-drama The Price of Confession, which premiered on Netflix on December 5th, is now a hit around the globe. It’s currently the second most popular show on Netflix in Morocco, South Korea, and Vietnam.

I’m so thrilled to see The Price of Confession doing so well! It’s hit #3 on Netflix in Malaysia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, which is amazing. But it doesn’t stop there – it’s also jumped to #4 in Hong Kong, Japan, Nigeria, Oman, Indonesia, and Thailand! It’s fantastic to see so many people around the world enjoying the 12-part series.

Starring Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun, Jin Seon-kyu, and Park Hae-soo, the series The Price of Confession is currently a top 5 hit on Netflix in Taiwan, Kuwait, Jordan, and Bangladesh. It’s also proving popular in the Maldives, where it’s ranked at #6.

Currently, The Price of Confession has an 80% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on critic reviews. Audience scores aren’t available yet, but with the show having premiered just two weeks ago, we can expect more ratings from viewers and critics to appear soon.

Okay, so I just finished watching The Price of Confession, and it’s a really gripping mystery thriller. The story centers around Ahn Yoon-soo, who finds herself the prime suspect when her husband turns up murdered and ends up in prison. Things get even more complicated when a manipulative fellow inmate, Mo-eun, starts getting involved, but thankfully, Yoon-soo has a lawyer fighting tooth and nail to clear her name. It’s a twisty ride trying to figure out if she’s really innocent!

Catch every single episode of The Price of Confession now streaming on Netflix.
