Netflix stole my idea for erotic show, claims ‘Queen of bling’ Celia Sawyer
Celia Sawyer, an unstoppable interior designer known as the ‘Queen of bling‘ on Channel 4’s Four Rooms, will go above and beyond to bring a client’s dreams to life, even if it involves installing a luxurious bath made of 24-carat gold and platinum in a private jet. However, she finds it disheartening when her creative ideas are taken without proper acknowledgement or compensation by others.
However, as asserted by the tall and imposing Sawyer, reaching 5ft 9½in in height without her Yves Saint Laurent gold sandals, it was precisely this scenario that unfolded when she proposed a project to Netflix.
Sawyer, aged 58, shared with me that he had forwarded a summary for a potential TV series titled ‘Kinky Rooms’. However, Netflix communicated to him that they intended to remove it from their consideration.
At the age of 15, Sawyer abandoned formal education and instead focused on her professional responsibilities. From her office located in Mayfair, overlooking Claridge’s, she designed blueprints for a variety of projects, including yachts and country estates.
However, she was surprised when, the year after, a Netflix show titled “How To Build A Sex Room” emerged. According to Sawyer, it bore striking resemblance to our original concept and format, as demonstrated by her proposal for an episode focusing on designing a room for polyamorous individuals.
In one episode of Netflix’s eight-part series, they showcased Melanie designing an upscale dungeon tailored to Lester and Soriya’s polyamorous family, with the tagline: ‘Melanie designs a luxurious dungeon for Lester and Soriya’s family, who practice polyamory’. Another episode focused on the construction of a ‘rock ‘n’ roll-themed love basement’, while a third was described as: ‘Meaghan and Dave are in search of high-end spa ambiance for their private retreat’.
As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I, Sawyer – a mother of two grown children with my husband, Nick, who’s in his mid-60s and directs food commercials – refused to just sit back and accept it. So, I penned them a letter expressing that their latest project seems awfully reminiscent of the concept I previously shared with you.
In response, Sawyer asserts that she was given a stern, or rather, a formal legal notice from their attorney, stating that they did not adopt her concept.

Sawyer was extremely irritated. “I’ve invested a lot of effort into these tasks, only for something like that to occur. I was truly disappointed. It was terrible.
Later on, however, her days were quite busy at her home in Sandbanks, Dorset. She and Nick found themselves engaged in a two-year long back-and-forth dispute with a neighbor who renovated his house, allegedly encroaching upon their garden. This situation made Celia feel uneasy whenever she was relaxing in a swimsuit.
They are currently arranging to offload their property for approximately £4 million, intending to devote more time to their home in Barbados instead.
A Netflix spokesman declines to comment.
Grubs up? I’m a Celeb’s Toffolo seeks ‘fun chef’
Deep within the jungle, Georgia Toffolo endured her journey by vomiting at the sight of insects like cockroaches and maggots, as well as a disturbing concoction made from a crocodile’s intestines and pig testicles.
OR
Georgia Toffolo was forced to throw up in the jungle due to her disgust at creatures such as cockroaches and maggots, along with an unappetizing mix of crocodile anus and pig testicles.
Back home, the I’m A Celebrity winner prefers finer fare.
Toff, 30, is seeking a chef to serve her and her new husband, BrewDog co-founder James Watt, 43.

In an ad posted on the exclusive members’ site Radio H-P, she expresses her search for a lively and youthful chef to be part of our household in London.
In this position, you’ll be working on a regular basis but with the freedom to adjust your schedule. You will also be responsible for preparing meals for myself, my spouse, and our two kids from my previous marriage with Johanna Basford.
The Stones ‘are making a new album – and want to tour again’
Fans of The Rolling Stones felt let down as the band abandoned their scheduled British and European tour for this year.
So this might give them some satisfaction.
It’s been confirmed that at the ages of 81 (Sir Mick Jagger), 81 (Keith Richards), 77 (Ronnie Wood), and 68 (Steve Jordan), the members of the Rolling Stones have come together again.
At a lively gathering in Notting Hill, I had the opportunity to chat with Ronnie’s former spouse, Jo Wood. She excitedly shared that they are currently working on their upcoming album – a sequel to ‘Hackney Diamonds.’
She admits: ‘I shouldn’t have told you that.’

The band are understood to be working with producer Andrew Watt at Metropolis Studios in Chiswick.
They postponed this year’s tour due to complications related to venue arrangements, travel, and previously scheduled commitments.
In a recent statement, Jo, the author of ‘The Resurrection of Flo’ (due out next month), expressed: “We’re considering another tour.
Jordan replaced drummer Charlie Watts, who died in 2021 aged 80.
Posh Spice’s royalties continue to roll in
Since 2012, Victoria Beckham has taken a break from singing with the Spice Girls, yet she continues to receive royalty payments from their past hits.
Spice Girls Ltd made a £93,000 profit last year, according to newly filed documents.
Since Posh Spice holds a 20% stake in the company, this translates to a share worth approximately £18,600 – enough to purchase several bottles of her husband’s preferred vintage, the 1961 Chateau Petrus, which goes for about £3,000 per bottle.

Lineker banned from football writer’s memorial service
It’s been decided that Gary Lineker won’t be allowed to deliver a eulogy at the memorial ceremony for renowned football journalist Brian Glanville, who passed away recently at the age of 93.
Mark, Glanville’s son, stated that he refused the idea of inviting this person to speak at his father’s memorial when his sister proposed it. He made it clear that he wants no part in having this individual present.
Tailor to the stars’ special creation
Designer Joshua Kane shared the news that his spouse, graphic artist Lottie Archer, is anticipating their initial offspring.
In simpler terms, Joshua posted a picture on social media featuring Lottie, who is 33 years old and pregnant. The photograph showcases a pink outfit that he designed for her, which matches an outfit he himself is wearing.
As a lifestyle connoisseur with a knack for creating unique designs, I’m excited to announce we’re stepping into the world of baby fashion – custom-made pieces just for your little ones! Paltrow in a pinch over hair loss
Gwyneth Paltrow, famously known for her beautiful golden tresses, has shared that she’s taking extensive measures to prevent hair loss.
So bad is the problem that she’s even tried injections in her scalp.

‘So many women I know are quietly dealing with hair loss,’ says the Hollywood star, 52.
Over the course of many years, I’ve attempted multiple remedies, but none have shown significant improvement – not even the experimental method of needle injections into my scalp.
She’s recently undergone a new therapy which incorporates a plastic surgeon and a tool that employs acoustic sound waves and air pressure to encourage hair regrowth.
‘It was completely painless,’ Gwynnie (right) says.
‘Honestly, I think my hair’s already feeling a bit fuller.’
