Netflix has released the first trailer for Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, and announced who will voice the characters in the animated spin-off. This includes new actors taking over the roles of Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, and other familiar faces.
This animated series is set in Hawkins during the winter of 1985, fitting between the second and third seasons of Stranger Things. While the exact storyline is still secret, we know the characters will face new monsters and investigate a fresh paranormal mystery.
Brooklyn Davey Norstedt is the new voice of Eleven in Tales from ’85, taking over from Millie Bobby Brown. Norstedt’s only previous acting role was as Amber in the 2022 mini-series WeCrashed. In other casting news, Brett Gipson will now voice Jim Hopper, replacing David Harbour in the animated series. Gipson has appeared in several popular shows, including NCIS, Shameless, S.W.A.T., and Station 19.
In addition to Eleven and Hopper, five more of the main characters from Stranger Things – Mike Wheeler, Will Byers, Max Anderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson – will be back in Tales from ’85.
