Netflix Just Confirmed 2 Glamorous New Settings For Emily In Paris Season 6

The show Emily in Paris centers around Emily Cooper, a marketing professional from Chicago who moves to Paris to work at a French marketing company and offer a fresh, American viewpoint. Created by Darren Star, who also made Sex and the City, the series stars Lily Collins, along with Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, and Bruno Gouery.

According to Variety, the sixth season of the Netflix series Emily in Paris will be filmed in Greece and Monaco. Previous seasons have showcased locations like Rome, Venice, Saint-Tropez, and Megève. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the fifth season was a hit, ranking second on Netflix’s top 10 list with 13.5 million views in its first four days.

Season 5 currently has the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of the series, with 70%. This is a significant improvement compared to Season 2 of Emily in Paris, which received a lower score of just 58%.

Details about season 6 are mostly a secret, but it looks like Emily will try to get back together with Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo). He’s moving to Greece for work and has invited her to join him – a storyline teased at the end of season 5. Emily recently had a summer romance with Marcello (played by Eugenio Franceschini), but it didn’t last, as she still seems to have feelings for her past loves.

Star discussed the upcoming return of Bravo, suggesting a rekindling of the relationship between his character and Emily, referring to Gabriel as her “great love.” He told Variety, “I can’t picture the show without Gabriel.” Star also confirmed Minnie Driver, who debuted in season five, will be back, and praised her performance, saying, “She elevated my writing to a whole new level.”

A key storyline involves Emily’s best friend, Mindy, and her engagement to Nico. Despite still having feelings for Alfie, Mindy said yes to Nico’s proposal. Their strong connection was clear in season 5, and it’s likely to cause drama as Mindy starts planning her wedding in the upcoming season.
