Netflix is removing Superman star David Corenswet’s best movie next week

Netflix is set to remove Superman star David Corenswet’s best movie in a week’s time.

Prior to donning the role of the Man of Steel, this actor had previously starred in the 2022 horror movie “Pearl”, which was the second installment in Ti West’s “X” trilogy and also happened to be his highest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes.

In this film, the protagonist, portrayed by Mia Goth, experiences her journey of becoming the central figure, which unfolds as a backstory. Her intense yearning for recognition and glamour conflicts sharply with her aggressive inclinations and rustic upbringing in Texas.

If you’re interested in watching “Pearl” again or if you missed it, make sure to do so soon because it will be removed from Netflix by July 18th.

Apart from the upcoming release of “Superman” in theaters this week, Corenswet also has a packed schedule ahead. This includes his role in the sports biopic “Mr. Irrelevant,” where he portrays NFL player John Tuggle, and the TV series “The Answers.

As a gaming enthusiast diving into the cinematic world, I’ve got to say that the latest iteration of Superman, helmed by director James Gunn, has left quite an impression on me so far. The film has been receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, with a fantastic 83% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes at the time this text was written.

In our four-star review for Digital Spy, we expressed that Gunn had a platform to showcase his talents, utilizing it to present yet another thrilling blockbuster with meaningful content.

It seems timely, without giving too much away, and if faith in humanity is justified by Superman, then he truly deserves to fly high this summer.

Moreover, featuring Rachel Brosnahan portraying Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult embodying Lex Luthor, this fresh movie chronicles Superman’s journey in harmonizing his alien roots with his earthly upbringing.

Superman is released in cinemas on 11 July.

The latest print issue from Digital Spy, featuring the Oasis – Live in ’25’ special edition, is available now! Pick up your copy at newsstands or purchase it online for only £8.99.
