In two weeks, Netflix will no longer have the emotional British drama We Live in Time, which stars Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield. The movie will be removed on February 28th and isn’t currently available to stream anywhere else.
The film jumps between different points in time over ten years to tell the story of a couple – how they fell in love, and how their lives were turned upside down by shocking news.
I won’t say too much, but it’s famous for being a really sad movie, and it’s surprisingly effective at making you cry.

I was checking out the reviews for this movie, and it’s looking really good! Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 79% rating based on over 220 reviews from critics. But what’s even cooler is that regular viewers – over 1,000 of them – gave it an 83% positive rating, which is awesome!
Okay, so everyone’s saying that Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh have amazing chemistry in We Live in Time. Apparently, they’ll completely pull you in and then absolutely wreck your emotions! It’s a really moving drama, and the way the story jumps around in time actually makes the exploration of grief feel even more impactful. Basically, prepare to feel things!

The film has a user score of 7.0/10 on IMDb, which is a decent average. One viewer praised it as a “fantastic, well-made film” with plenty of humor and emotional impact, particularly highlighting the powerful and realistic performances from the two main actors.
One viewer commented that the characters’ experiences in the movie were both touching and heartbreaking, but also genuinely sweet, depending on the scene. They also praised the film’s ability to handle these emotional moments without becoming overly sentimental or awkward.

One viewer described the story’s non-linear structure as both helpful and harmful, saying it made the plot more complicated but weakened the emotional impact. Another felt the scenes were arranged randomly, making the film feel disjointed and confusing.
So if you don’t mind or especially enjoy a non-linear structure, this might be one for you.
We Live in Time is available to stream on Netflix until 28 February.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant 100-page magazine celebrating Taylor Swift, is now available! You can purchase it at newsagents or online for only £8.99.
