Netflix is removing Florence Pugh and Jack Lowden’s excellent British movie this month

The entertaining film, “Fighting with My Family“, starring Florence Pugh and Jack Lowden, will no longer be available on Netflix by the end of this month.

2019’s biographical film focuses on the life of wrestler Paige (portrayed by Pugh), tracing her journey through WWE, while simultaneously depicting the challenges faced by her brother Zac Zodiac (played by Lowden) in achieving comparable success.

If you’re interested in watching the movie for the first time or if you’d like to see it again, it can be found on Netflix until June 23rd.

In a previous review when Fighting with My Family was first released, described it as having such a warm and endearing quality that it’s hard not to be captivated by its appeal, despite some instances where it feels predictable or familiar.

Driven by Pugh’s stellar performance, I found myself deeply moved and laughing out loud throughout this heartwarming story about an underdog. I can’t wait to jump back into the action for another round!

The movie titled “Fighting with My Family” has a high approval rating of 93%, according to Rotten Tomatoes.

Similar to the spirited nature of the sport it portrays, “Fighting with My Family” powerfully overcomes stereotypes with an energetic mix of dedicated performances, making spectators enthusiastically applaud, according to general agreement.

The film is directed by Stephen Merchant, who previously worked on “The Outlaws.” It stars Dwayne Johnson (also known as “The Rock”), along with Lena Headey from “Game of Thrones,” Nick Frost from “Truth Seekers,” Vince Vaughn from “Wedding Crashers,” and James Burrows, a familiar face from “Coronation Street.

In 2019, the genuine Paige found it incredibly strange to see her story play out on screen.

She watched it alone after Stephen Merchant handed it to her, and the experience was so bizarrely moving that she cried throughout the entire thing.

I’ve watched it so many times that it feels excessive. In fact, I bought it from iTunes. I find myself watching it nearly every day, it’s quite surprising. It seems to be available on planes, in hotels, even on their menus. You could say it’s ubiquitous. Refraining from watching it would almost feel impolite.

Fighting with My Family is available to stream on Netflix until 23 June.

The debut print magazine from Digital Spy, titled “British Comedy Legends,” is available for purchase! Grab a copy at your local newsagent or online, now selling for only £3.99.
