‘Netflix House’ entertainment complexes are coming. Here’s when they open

Netflix House will soon open its doors.

On Monday, the video-streaming colossus revealed their plans for unveiling the initial public debut of their mixed-use facilities, which encompass retail, dining, and entertainment experiences.

In a notable development, the California-based company headquartered in Los Gatos plans to inaugurate its first Netflix Hub in Philadelphia on November 12. This new hub will be situated at the King of Prussia shopping center. Interestingly, another Netflix Hub is scheduled to open at Galleria Dallas on December 11. The company also intends to launch a third location in Las Vegas by the year 2027.

A spacious area over 100,000 square feet is being designed to provide fans with unique experiences, branded merchandise, and edible treats inspired by Netflix’s hit series, films, and universes. This initiative aims to cash in on the massive popularity of its content.

Fans can expect opportunities for selfies with Queen Charlotte, viewings of “KPop Demon Hunters”, as well as Netflix-themed meals and drinks, according to the company’s announcement.

Netflix is intensifying its involvement in retail, aiming to launch two brick-and-mortar shops. Additionally, the company is collaborating with numerous brands to market merchandise inspired by their TV series and films.

At the Netflix compound, visitors can enjoy free access. However, certain fan-oriented activities like the Top 9 Mini Golf and interactive Virtual Reality games available at the Philadelphia location will require payment.

Netflix is broadening its horizons in live entertainment with the introduction of Netflix House. They’ve organized events reminiscent of Regency-era balls, as seen in the show “Bridgerton”, and have collaborated with retailers and brands to offer merchandise inspired by hits like “Squid Game” and “Stranger Things”.

Such experiences also serve as marketing for the shows and movies.

Next year, Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos predicted that there might be around 50 to 60 Netflix production hubs worldwide at various global locations during a talk at the WSJ Tech Live conference in the previous year.
