Netflix Games slashes game library with 22 Titles leaving in July 2025, including Monument 3 Trilogy, Hades, and more
Story Highlights
- Netflix Games‘s new division has faced leadership changes, project cancellations, and multiple game removals across mobile.
- Some titles, like Monument Valley 3, are set to launch on other platforms after their removal from Netflix.
- They recently canceled Don’t Starve Together, Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game, and even pulled Crashlands 2.
Netflix’s mobile gaming library is seeing a further reduction, making it a recurring pattern. Following the cancellation of six upcoming games, Netflix plans to delete over 20 existing ones in July 2025, which includes popular titles such as Hades, Monument Valley series, and others.
Netflix Games shows signs of trouble as internal shifts lead to mass removals
It appears that Netflix’s gaming division is experiencing some unusual developments based on their actions over the last year. Initially, we thought these changes were merely strategic moves, such as the cancellation of games like Don’t Starve Together. However, considering the ongoing internal adjustments and continuous waves of game removals, it seems that this may be more than just a single strategic shift.

It’s unfortunate that a number of game titles will be taken down on July 15. Some of the notable departures include recently released ones such as “Monument Valley 3,” which was set to launch in December 2024, and “Carmen Sandiego,” scheduled for release in January 2025. To find out if your favorite games are affected, look for the “Leaving Soon badge” on their respective pages.
List of all the titles that are planned for removal
22 games are being taken off Netflix’s gaming platform, accounting for approximately 20% of their current collection of mobile titles. This group of games set to be removed includes popular titles such as Hades, Monument Valley series, Raji: An Ancient Epic, and Poinpy from Devolver Digital, which was recently taken off this month.
Here’s a full list of all the titles planned for removal by Netflix:
To clarify, the majority of the games being phased out are either licensed or intellectual properties owned by third parties, indicating that Netflix no longer holds the rights to them. Although they plan to produce more mobile games, it’s speculated that their output may decrease in this area. Instead, there’s a strong indication that they will concentrate on developing games for larger screens, with a carefully selected lineup of releases.

Although it’s disappointing that some titles are being taken off, there’s still much to be excited about, such as the upcoming releases of WWE 2K, Spirit Crossing, and Netflix Puzzled (which is currently in beta testing). It’s worth noting that we might see those removed titles appear on different platforms. In fact, Monument Valley 3 has already been confirmed for release elsewhere.
