Netflix fans in awe of romantic drama that was so moving it made them cry ‘every time’ they watched it
As someone who has spent countless hours engrossed in the world of cinematography, I can confidently say that Me Before You left an indelible mark on my heart. The raw emotion and poignant narrative struck a chord with viewers, myself included, making it one of the saddest films I’ve ever seen.
Fans of Netflix are emotionally invested in a heart-wrenching romantic drama available on the platform, claiming it left them in tears each time they watched it.
On the Facebook community Netflix Bangers, with more than 3 million members, there was a consensus among viewers that the movie was incredibly sad, expressing their sentiment as: “One of my all-time favorites! Remember to have a tissue box handy if you’re watching this!”
Another posted: ‘Such a good film with brilliant actors but also a tear jerker’.
One wrote: ‘Watched at least 4 times, every time I cried’.
Another said: ‘I love it! Get the tissues ready though.’

Audience members often mentioned the romantic comedy titled “Me Before You,” where Emilia Clarke plays Louisa ‘Lou’ Clark and Sam Claflin portrays William ‘Will’ Traynor, both stars from “Game of Thrones.”
Louisa has been employed as a caregiver for Will, who was once a thriving banker and avid athlete. Unfortunately, an accident involving a motorcycle left him paralyzed from the neck down (tetraplegia).
It’s hoped that Lou’s cheerful demeanor could brighten up Will’s gloomy and skeptical mood, an expectation that proves true once they both develop feelings for each other.
However, this comes after she overhears an argument between Will’s parents, which reveal his plans to ask for assisted suicide.

As a steadfast supporter, I embark on an endeavor to shift Will’s perspective. Instead of forcing him, I aim to inspire him through shared journeys and thrilling experiences, hoping to convey the value of his life that remains vibrant and full of potential.
While on a lavish vacation in Mauritius, Will confides in Lou that he plans to pursue medically-assisted death. He expresses his desire for her to fully enjoy and live her own life.
Following their last shared moments, Lou discovers there is sufficient funds for her to pursue her aspirations, and he urges her to savor a wealthy lifestyle tailored to her preferences.
The film was well received by fans and critics alike, with a score of 7.4 on IMDb.
Additionally, it garnered the Favorite Dramatic Movie title at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards and received a nomination in the “tearjerker” category at the 2016 MTV Movie and TV Awards.
