Okay, I’m SO excited! Netflix just dropped a new teaser for Money Heist (La Casa de Papel), and it looks like the story isn’t finished after all! They’re keeping things pretty mysterious right now, but it’s enough to get me hyped for more!
The popular Netflix series, set in Madrid, is one of the platform’s biggest non-English language successes. The show centers around a crew of robbers, who all go by city names, as they attempt daring and dangerous heists.
The series was created by Álex Pina and features a talented cast including Úrsula Corberó, Álvaro Morte, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Miguel Herrán, Tamara Arranz, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Darko Perić, Hovik Keuchkerian, and Luka Peroš.
The show concluded in 2021 with its fifth season, after Netflix cancelled it – or at least, that’s what everyone believed at the time.
A new trailer has been released five years after the original series ended, hinting at a continuation of the Money Heist story.
