Brooker expressed great excitement when he stated, ‘I’m delighted to contribute to this press release.’ He’s shared that he’s harbored this aspiration since his early days, and now, as he fulfills it, he feels truly elated.

He expressed that he wished he could check if this was all real by giving himself a pinch, but like many of us, he’s fearful that such an action might jolt him back to reality and reveal that the year 2025 is merely a captivating illusion. However, he kindly requests you to tune in to his program. He emphasized this with a plea.

For the forthcoming venture, Brooker has gathered an extensive group of authors, including Ben Caudell, Jason Hazeley, Emer Kenny, Dan Maier, Joel Morris, and Victoria Asare Archer, who will be working alongside him.

In addition to Jessica Rhoades, Annabel Jones, and Mark Kinsella, he’ll serve as an executive producer. Meanwhile, Richard Webb takes on the role of the sole producer. Al Campbell, known for his work on Inside No. 9 and Code 404, will be directing the show.

Although Brooker’s detective show hasn’t made its debut on television yet, this year he revealed the seventh season of “Black Mirror,” marking the first one since 2023 and consisting of six parts.

After the debut, some viewers criticized the show for favoring well-known actors over emerging talents in its cast, a claim which Brooker brushed off.

Occasionally, one hears comments like, ‘Now it’s only famous people in Black Mirror, isn’t it?’ In response, he clarified to Digital Spy that while the series does feature well-known personalities, there are numerous episodes highlighting lesser-known talents as well.
