Netflix confirms release date for new Harlan Coben thriller Missing You
As a seasoned gamer and avid binge-watcher of thrillers, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Harlan Coben series, “Missing You,” set to premiere on Netflix on New Year’s Day 2025! With an all-star cast led by Rosalind Eleazar from “Slow Horses” and Ashley Walters of “Top Boy,” this gripping drama is bound to keep me on the edge of my seat.
Netflix has confirmed a release date for upcoming Harlan Coben thriller Missing You.
The highly anticipated five-part series starring Rosalind Eleazar from “Slow Horses” will debut on a streaming platform come New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025.
In the show titled “Missing You“, Eleazar plays the role of Kat Donovan, a private investigator specializing in missing persons cases, whose professional duties are deeply intertwined with her own personal feelings.
Eleven years have passed since Detective Kat Donovan’s partner, Josh, the man she deeply loved, mysteriously vanished without a trace and has not been heard from since.
Now, browsing through profiles on a dating app, she encounters his image and it feels like the world around her shatters and reassembles anew.
Upon Josh’s return, she will once again delve into the enigma of her father’s murder, unearthing forgotten truths about her past hidden for years.
In the series “Top Boy,” Ashley Walters portrays the character Josh. Other actors in the cast include Sir Lenny Henry, James Nesbitt, Richard Armitage from “Fool Me Once,” Jessica Plumber from “EastEnders,” and Steve Pemberton, who is known for his work on “Inside No. 9.

During a recent chat with Digital Spy, author Harlan Coben hinted at what fans can anticipate from his novel “Missing You”. He expressed that it might be his most suspenseful work yet, and added that the conclusion will not just catch you off guard, but leave you completely taken aback. Intriguingly, even upon a recent re-read, Coben admitted that he himself was deceived by the ending – a testament to its unpredictability.
