In the same universe as the 2023 film “Kill Boksoon,” the new series titled “Mantis” is set to debut on Netflix on September 26th.
In this Korean movie, helmed by Lee Tae-sung, the talented lineup includes Yim Si-wan, best known for his roles in seasons two and three of “Squid Game.” He headlines the ensemble as Han-ul, also known as Mantis, an accomplished assassin.
In completion of the main characters, Park Gyu-young, known for her role in Squid Game, takes on the part of Mantis’s old friend and fellow assassin, Jae-yi. Meanwhile, Jo Woo-jin portrays Dok-go, a previous mentor to our main character.

As reported by Netflix, the series Mantis revolves around Han-ul’s journey back into the disorganized world of contract killings following his holiday break.
Upon returning to this chaotic realm, Mantis runs into Jae-yi, a sparring partner and competitor, as well as Dok-go, a former renowned assassin. He understands that each of them aims to claim the highest rank among the deadly assassins.
Last year’s release, named Mantis, received approval following the triumph of Kill Boksoon, a highly successful action thriller penned and directed by Byun Sung-hyun.
