Netflix confirms Emily in Paris season 5 and addresses location change
As a seasoned gamer of the world of streaming series, I must say that the news of Emily in Paris’ renewal for another season has sent ripples of excitement through my digital realm. Having binged through the first four seasons in record time, I found myself longing for more of Lily Collins’ charming portrayal of Emily, her quirky antics, and the captivating cityscapes of Paris (and now Rome!).
Netflix has officially renewed Emily in Paris for another season.
Today, it was revealed that the popular streaming platform has confirmed a fifth installment of the series featuring Lily Collins. In this new season, her iconic character will embark on further romantic escapades in the enchanting city of Rome.
Hey there, gaming buddies! Guess who just got a sneak peek at some hot news? Yours truly, the avid gamer, has stumbled upon a tantalizing snapshot of Collins enjoying an espresso in the heart of Rome. It’s not every day you find yourself in the midst of such intrigue, right? Well, Netflix decided to share this delightful image on their social media pages, and let me tell you, it’s got the gaming community buzzing!
In the past seven days, the second half of season 4 became available on Netflix, featuring Emily traveling to Rome to spend time with her latest boyfriend, Marcello.
At first, Emily embarks on her journey alone. However, as she travels abroad, she is eventually accompanied by her roommate and closest friend, Mindy, along with Luc, Julien from her Agence Grateau team, and her supervisor, Sylvie.
The final episode of season four left us hanging, as it raised doubts about Emily’s continued presence in the city of lights (Note: Spoiler alert for Emily in Paris season 4 part 2)).
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel thrilled that Emily is taking her professional journey to Rome! Not only will she be spearheading Agence Grateau’s new foreign office, but she’ll also be instrumental in devising the marketing strategy for Umberto Muratori, the illustrious luxury cashmere brand owned by the prestigious Marcello family. It’s a dream combination of business and pleasure that I can’t wait to see unfold!
Although season five hints at more from Rome, the creator of Emily in Paris, Darren Star, has confirmed that the title of the series will not be altered.
As a fervent admirer, I shared the exciting news that Emily will have an impact in Rome. This doesn’t imply she won’t also be in Paris, but her influence or visibility is definitely going to be noticeable in Rome.
Additionally, Collins shared further details about her blossoming screen relationship with Marcello during an interview with Good Morning America.
Marcello represents a different journey we’d like for Emily, as our goal is to help her achieve a more harmonious work and personal life,” she explained.
As a gamer, I’m yearning for Emily to show her genuine grin, not just the one she flashes when she’s on vacation. I’m eager to witness the real Emily. And luckily, it seems like the ideal moment has arrived.
Emily in Paris seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
