Nepo Baby Stuns in Daring Mesh Jeweled Gown at BAFTAs: Can You Guess Her Famous Mother?

At the 2025 BAFTAs held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, a Nepotism child radiated nothing less than extraordinary charm in a stunning black dress adorned with sparkle.

The gifted 20-year-old actress has chosen to tread the same path as her famous mother in Hollywood, who garnered a BAFTA Award for her exceptional role as Best Actress in a Supporting Category all the way back in 2006.

Currently, the actress who appeared in the 2019 live-action version of Dumbo directed by Tim Burton has just been cast alongside Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant, and Leo Woodall in the latest installment of Bridget Jones’s story.

The impressive woman showcased her stunning physique in a lengthy, semi-transparent gown and accentuated her tall stature with a matching set of high heels.

She pulled back her lengthy hair into a neat, high bun for the glamorous award show, and added a modest silver necklace and earrings to complete the look.

So can you guess who this Nepo baby is and who her famous mum is?

It’s Nico Parker!

Nico’s mom, Thandiwe Newton, is a multiple Emmy-winning actress, while his dad, Ol Parker, is a screenwriter.

In the newest addition to the Bridget Jones series titled “Mad About The Boy,” the character of Nico takes on the role of Bridget’s intelligent and youthful babysitter, Chloe.

In Mad about the Boy, movie spectators are introduced to Nico for the very first time as her babysitting abilities are highly praised by a fellow mother from another school.

The parent says to Bridget, “Chloe is quite beautiful,” then quickly follows with, “However, Bridget, your marital status is what truly matters to us, not her looks.

Renee Zellweger’s character later remarks on her new nanny’s ‘film star looks’.

Nico is also a model, and a global ambassador for luxury beauty brand Lancome.

In 2020, the up-and-coming talent made an appearance in HBO’s mini-series “The Third Day,” alongside Jude Law, as well as in HBO’s version of “The Last of Us.

Back in 2010, I spilled my heart out to Hollywood Life about what truly matters to me: Empowering my ladies! It’s all about that empowerment, you feel me?

She contemplated on being a parent: ‘I’m astonished by the fact that, once more, I begin anew, reliving my own childhood. It seems the universe granted me daughters as a chance to re-experience my girlhood anew and with renewed vigor.’

The EE BAFTA 2025 Awards is back for a spectacular evening filled with entertainment, honoring the outstanding movies of the year and the brilliant artists that breathe life into them.

In 2023, after spending six years at the Royal Albert Hall, the glamorous event with numerous celebrities found a new location: the Royal Festival Hall within the Southbank Centre, where it will resume its occurrence once more.

The EE BAFTA Film Awards encompass 25 competitive categories which are decided by BAFTA members.

The upcoming show is set to introduce thrilling modifications, among them a fresh category for Children’s & Family Films. This category aims to honor outstanding productions that appeal to audiences across various age groups.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to announce that after a gap of five years, we’re unveiling a brand-new category in our EE BAFTA Film Awards! This marks the introduction of the first fresh award in half a decade, and I can hardly wait to see the extraordinary films and filmmakers it will celebrate.

A fresh innovation has been implemented in the Outstanding British Film category, which now features a revised method for voting.

In a stunning turn of events, Thriller Conclave breaks records with an impressive 12 nominations in every category, closely followed by Emilia Perez with 11 nods, and The Brutalist garnering 9.

After returning to its native land, the movie “Conclave” has received double the number of nominations at this year’s British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) compared to what it got at the Golden Globe Awards held in Los Angeles last month.

In a more conversational style: The gripping mystery movie featuring Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, and Isabella Rossellini revolves around the covert selection of a new Pope, filled with political maneuvering, individual ambitions, and hidden truths that ignite conflicts among rival cardinals.

The victor surpassed Emilia Perez, the Golden Globes’ top winner, which received 11 BAFTA nominations, making it the second most-nominated title. Previously, it had won 10 awards at the U.S. award function.

In a repeat of last year’s snub, Judges have once more overlooked Gladiator 2 in the Awards category, with the film missing out on the nomination for Best Film and its lead actor, the talented Irishman Paul Mescal, aged 28, failing to make the BAFTA longlist for the Best Actor award.

62-year-old Demi Moore, who received her initial acting award at the Globes for her work in Substance, has been nominated for the Leading Actress category alongside Cynthia Erivo, aged 38 from Wicked, and Saoirse Ronan, who is 30 years old, for the Outrun.

Movie industry experts think that Ghost’s actress being added to the BAFTA nominees list significantly boosts her chances of winning an Oscar for the first time.

In other BAFTA award contenders, Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin from the show Succession are set to compete against each other in the Supporting Actor category. They were nominated for their roles in the series “A Real Pain” and the Trump biopic titled “The Apprentice.”

Or simply:
Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin, both from Succession, will face off in the BAFTA Supporting Actor race, with nominations for their acting in “A Real Pain” and “The Apprentice.

Currently, Adrien Brody’s movie “The Brutalist” has earned nine BAFTA nominations. Notably, “Dune 2” and “Wicked” have each received seven nominations as well.

In the EE BAFTA Rising Star Award category for 2024, Marisa Abela takes the front position due to her compelling performance as Amy Winehouse in the movie titled Back To Black.

On Tuesday, the list of finalists was revealed, which includes Marisa, Jharrel Jerome known for his work in “Unstoppable,” David Jonsson from “Alien: Romulus,” Mikey Madison who starred in “Anora,” and Nabhaan Rizwan from “In Camera.

Coincidentally, David, Nabhaan and Marisa were all stars of BBC drama Industry.

Sara Putt, chairwoman of BAFTA, expressed that this year’s BAFTA nomination list showcases an exceptional diversity.

She noted: “Moreover, if you examine the top 10 movies in the ‘Best Film’ category, I believe you’ll find six distinct movie genres represented within.

In the world of films, there are various genres such as science fiction, comedy, horror, drama, and musicals. Interestingly, this year, unconventional picks like ‘Nosferatu’, ‘The Substance’, and ‘Heretic’ have been nominated in the horror category.

Did you know about the diverse selection of films that feature both ‘Wicked’ and ‘Kneecap’ soundtracks? The range of genres and styles in this list is impressive, making it an exhilarating exploration.

The prize is considered a stepping stone towards achieving A-list stardom; past recipients include Tom Holland, James McAvoy, Tom Hardy, Lashana Lynch, and Kristen Stewart.

David Tennant will take to the stage to host the BAFTAs for a second year in a row.

The actor, 53, first hosted the awards show last year, taking over from Richard E Grant.

Without a doubt, he’ll showcase his charm and wit after a highly praised first appearance which attracted more than 3.8 million home viewers.

Over 20 million times, the highlights from the ceremony were watched by fans catching up on them via social media platforms.

Although Prince William, the head of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts), is typically joined by his wife Catherine on the red carpet, it is unlikely that the Welsh couple will be present at this year’s awards ceremony.

Last year, it was Kate who was unfortunately unable to attend the awards due to the fact that she had announced in a video message on March 22 that she was battling cancer. On the other hand, Prince William graced the red carpet solo at the Baftas.

The 2025 EE Bafta Film Awards will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 7pm on Sunday February 16.
