As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but jump with joy when I saw Scarlett Thomas, the daughter of my beloved Ryan Thomas, fiercely responding to those ‘nepo baby’ accusations in a recent video she posted on social media this past Friday! With whispers of a potential £2million payday swirling around her, it’s clear that Scarlett is more than just a star kid – she’s got the talent and the grit to prove it!

The teenage actress, aged 16, is the child of longtime Coronation Street icon Tina O’Brien, who is 41, and ex-Coronation Street performer Ryan, also 40 years old.

Moreover, her famous connections aren’t limited; she is related to both Love Island’s Scott Thomas and Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas who are known personalities as well.

On TikTok, Scarlett posted a fun, spontaneous video where she was in the passenger seat of a convertible while miming to the popular tune “Easy” from the year 1977 by The Commodores.

In that captivating video, I found myself adorning oversized sunnies, golden hoops for my ears, and a striking, off-the-shoulder brown tunic, absolutely living for the vintage vibe!

Frankly, I couldn’t help but fiercely defend my rising star in the soap opera world when some dared to doubt or belittle her accomplishments. She’s more than just a talented actress; she’s an inspiration!

Scarlett wrote on top of the clip: ‘God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets.’

Following reports that the teenager is on track to receive a £2 million windfall, as her stardom is predicted, she is expected to become extremely famous.

Previously known TV duo Tina and Ryan might find themselves overshadowed by their daughter’s meteoric rise in the entertainment industry, as she continues to excel and build a thriving acting career.

According to The Sun, despite some past disagreements, Ryan and Tina are currently united in their unwavering support of their daughter, Scarlett. A source reveals that the family has grand aspirations for both Scarlett and her cousin Teddy, and they devote significant time discussing the most beneficial strategies for their careers.

Due to Scarlett’s impressive performance on BBC’s Waterloo Road and her growing influence on social media, some professionals in the industry predict she will earn at least £2 million before she turns 18.

When she was just 14 years old, this aspiring actress landed her first significant role in a TV show, securing the position as Izzie Charles in the BBC series Waterloo Road.

While appearing on the show, Scarlett shared screen time with her uncle, the previous star of Emmerdale, who is 36 years old, named Adam.

In the movie, he portrayed her character as his on-screen father, named Donte, whereas his real-life son, Teddy, aged 9, whom he has with his spouse Caroline Thomas, was cast as his on-screen child.

She’s also well-liked beyond screens, as her latest TikTok video has amassed close to three million views, as reported by The Sun.

She’s accumulated more than 165,000 followers on that platform, along with an additional 138,000 fans on Instagram. Interestingly, she started both of these accounts when she was 16 years old in October.

Besides her personal ones, she frequently shows up on her family’s social media accounts, as the Thomas family also maintains their own platform.

In my personal account, I’m fortunate to be associated with noteworthy figures such as the renowned actor Adam, the captivating Love Island sensation Scott, and the ex-TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh who was once engaged to Ryan.

As a devoted follower, I can confidently say that it’s evident they form a tight-knit family who masterfully leverage social media to boost their professional journeys. They skillfully tap into TikTok’s trends, and each individual possesses unique talents that shine independently.

She noted that, considering public relations, the family’s TikTok videos function as a fantastic stage to showcase their abilities to a vast number of viewers.

She continued: ‘It’s evident that Teddy possesses great talent, and it looks like the children within the family will emulate their fathers’ careers. Scarlett frequently features in videos alongside her father and uncles, displaying her vocal and acting abilities. Given both parents work in TV, it’s clear that Scarlett has inherited their talents. At the same time, his father too expressed his joy on Instagram when his teenager chose a similar path as him.

In a video, he expressed: “This is an extraordinary era we’re living in. Tonight at 8pm, on BBC One, you’ll see my brother Adam, my adorable nephew Teddy, and my eldest daughter Scarlett all appearing together on the TV screen as a family.

Discuss an occasion that made the Thomases burst with pride! Incredibly exciting, I can hardly contain myself until you all get a glimpse of it. We enjoyed it as a united family, watching it together.

The former couple dated for six years from 2003 to 2009, and welcomed Scarlett in 2008.

Tina and Ryan used to be known as Coronation Street’s favorite pairing, often referred to as the ‘It’ couple. Their paths crossed on the set of the ITV soap in 2000 when Ryan debuted as Jason Grimshaw, while Tina had already been cast as Sarah Platt a year earlier.

Since last year, when Ryan accused Tina of damaging his Range Rover with a baseball bat following an intense argument at night, their bond has been tense.

According to reports, Ryan accused his ex-partner of damaging the side mirror on his vehicle. At the time, it was mentioned that they had a tumultuous relationship.

Currently, Tina is wedded to fitness instructor Adam Crofts, and they officially became a couple on New Year’s Eve in 2018. However, some concerns about their separation have been raised more recently regarding Tina.

In 2018, he portrayed Rafael Humphreys on the Australian daytime drama “Neighbours” and emerged victorious in the 22nd season of “Celebrity Big Brother.

Currently, Tina is most recognized for her role as Sarah Platt on the popular street known as the Cobbles. She first appeared on the show in 1999 and played the character until 2008. After a brief hiatus, she reappeared on the soap opera again in 2015.

Additionally, she graced the screens on BBC One’s Waterloo Road series from 2010 to 2011. It comes as no shock that acting is a part of Scarlett’s very essence.
