Nepo babies with music legend dads pose for a photo that rocks the internet

A pair of individuals who are offspring of legendary rock musicians have appeared in a picture that’s been widely shared, causing quite a stir on social media platforms.

Growing up, my life and I have been closely intertwined with many of today’s young adults, largely due to the fact that our fathers were bandmates in one of the most prominent groups in the music industry.

25-year-old Mae McKagan, an emerging model and social influencer, is the child of Duff McKagan, a renowned bassist from the band Guns n’ Roses. Duff shares her with his partner, model and writer Susan Holmes McKagan.

London Hudson, 22, is the son of another head banging rocker and Guns n’ Roses great, Slash.

Saul Hudson, also known as the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, resides in London, much like his former spouse Perla Ferrar, who’s equally a professional musician.

Rather than sticking with the guitar and mimicking his father, London chose to establish himself as a drummer instead.

In 2018, during an interview on the Appetite for Distortion podcast, he explained that he prefers not to be overshadowed by someone else’s greatness, which is why he doesn’t play guitar or stringed instruments.

He is currently the drummer for a band called Return to Dust. 

The band has a planned itinerary that takes them across the United States starting from August 29, where they will perform as the opening act for both Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace during their tours.

Fans should not be surprised if they see London’s devoted dad in the audience.

In an interview for the Wall of Sound podcast in 2022, Slash said it feels incredibly strange yet captivating to watch him perform live with his current style.

‘It’s mind-blowing to see your little one up there doing that,’ the rocker said. 

Their upcoming CD, Speak Like the Dead, will be released on August 1.

Previously, London collaborated with Noah Weiland, the offspring of the late Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland, as well as Tye Trujillo, whose father is the renowned musician Robert Trujilla from Metallica.

Beyond posing for Skims and various apparel companies, Mae McKagan additionally creates unique designs for personal branding.

She is the founder of MAE, an independent clothing brand in New York City.

The brand focuses on hip sexy looks with mix of textiles including leather, lace and denim.
