NEOWIZ announced that its popular game, Guitar Girl, will stop running on December 31, 2025. The relaxing music game, which first came out in November 2020, will be ending its service after five years.

Guitar Girl is a relaxing game featuring calming guitar music. You’ll help the artist grow her fanbase by promoting her music on social media. As she gains popularity, she’ll begin performing live, and you can even customize her appearance and room with new outfits and guitars.

Hey everyone, just got some really sad news. The team behind Guitar Girl announced on Facebook that the game is shutting down on December 31st, 2025. They said it’s due to some behind-the-scenes stuff, and while they’re bummed about it, they promised to keep giving it their all until the very end. It’s a shame, I was really enjoying it!

You can download and play the game until EOS, and even request refunds

After the recent announcement, the game no longer allows purchases within the app. You can still download and play it on the Google Play Store and App Store until December 31st. Customer support will be available until January 31, 2026.

It’s really disappointing to hear this game is shutting down so soon, even with the promise of refunds. I mean, less than five years feels way too short for a game this good! A lot of us fans are bummed, and I’ve been reading comments like, “I really hope something else comes along to take its place,” and even, “I literally just started playing last week!” It’s just a shame.
