Warning: Spoilers for The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2, episode 5!
The latest trailer for The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2, episode 6 has been unveiled. It shows Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) grappling with the Croat’s (Željko Ivanek) surprising choice, while Bruegel (Kim Coates) proposes a deal to Perlie (Gaius Charles). In the previous episode, the Croat fatally stabbed the Dama (Lisa Emery), leaving her to burn under some overturned candles. The soldiers of the New Babylon Federation had exterminated the Foragers only to meet their demise at the hands of zombies. Bruegel appeared in the final scene with the primary characters of the show.
As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share my insights on the latest sneak peek of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” season 2, episode 6. The new trailer, brought to us by AMC via WotNot, offers an intriguing glimpse into Negan’s confrontation with the Coat following the Dama’s demise.
In this installment, we witness Brugel attempting to strike a deal with Perlie, promising New Babylon access to the Burazi’s methane reserves. However, Maggie (played by Lauren Cohan) remains skeptical of his intentions. It appears that these events will ultimately lead Maggie to cross paths with Negan again.
The trailer concludes with a chilling scene where a wild bear attacks Maggie and Hershel in what seems to be Central Park. If you haven’t already, take a look at the trailer below to get a taste of the tension that awaits us in this upcoming episode!
What The Walking Dead: Dead City’s New Trailer Means For Season 2, Episode 6
The Conflict For Manhattan Is Becoming Even More Complex

As I sat down to share my thoughts on the gripping fifth episode of “Dead City” season 2, I found myself reflecting on the shocking turn of events that unfolded. In this heart-wrenching chapter, we bid farewell to several pivotal characters – Lucia (Dascha Polanco), Roksana (Pooya Mohseni), and the enigmatic Dama – each leaving a profound impact on the show’s intricate tapestry.
Amongst the survivors, our cast endured a series of seismic shifts. Hershel (Logan Kim) experienced a transformative moment as he grappled with the consequences of his past actions, sending a smoke signal to the Burazi. And Ginny (Mahina Napoleon) faced a life-altering setback, suffering a significant injury that will undoubtedly shape her journey ahead.
With the absence of a clear leader in Manhattan and Bruegel seemingly aligning with Perlie, the stage is set for new alliances to emerge. These strategic bonds will undeniably determine the island’s destiny for seasons to come.
As I settle into my seat to revisit ‘Dead City’ in its upcoming season, the reunion of Maggie and Negan promises an electric tension that’s difficult to ignore. Their past clashes, culminating at the end of season 1, set the stage for renewed conflict, given their diametrically opposed allegiances amidst a raging war.
Negan now finds himself grappling with personal turmoil following the demise of the Dama, as the fate of his wife and son’s arrival in New York City remains uncertain. This new development could significantly alter the dynamics between these two formidable characters.
However, Negan’s current alliance with the Croat might keep them on friendly terms, at least for now. But, only time will tell if another unforeseen event ignites a major rift between them and alters the course of their relationship in this gripping post-apocalyptic saga.
Our Take On Dead City Season 2, Episode 6’s Trailer
Will Perlie Really Trust Bruegel To Help Him?

It’s evident that Bruegel harbors secret intentions in wanting to align with New Babylon, doubtful about trusting Croat or Negan to unite the factions in Manhattan. As for Perlie, it’s uncertain if he’ll put faith in this power play, but Maggie’s words hint at her growing frustration being stuck between two rival groups fighting for dominance on the island. With just three episodes left, The Walking Dead: Dead City still has ample time to unfold how these alliances impact the show’s direction and the fate of key characters.
