With a 61% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie “The Last Stand” received praise as being “fun in an unexpected way” and “perfect for enjoying with popcorn,” according to the Irish Times. The London Evening Standard also commended its “smoothly delivered nostalgia.

Mindhorn

In this rephrased version, a fading television actor, who happens to be portrayed by Julian Barratt and also collaborated with Simon Farnaby from “Paddington,” is compelled to team up with the police in the movie titled “Mindhorn.” The reason being, a serial killer, who thinks the Mindhorn character (the TV detective role of this actor) is genuine, insists on communicating exclusively with this fictional character.
