NCSOFT is releasing AION2, a new fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), on mobile devices. It will launch in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on November 19th, with plans for a worldwide release in 2026. AION2 is the sequel to the popular 2008 game, AION, and players can now sign up to pre-register.

Relive the eternal war between the Celestials and Demons

AION2 is the newest installment in the long-running AION fantasy series, which first launched nearly twenty years ago. It picks up where the original left off, continuing the age-old conflict between the Celestials and Demons as they battle for dominance and honor.

Choose from eight distinct character classes – like marksmen, mages, guardians, and supporters – each offering special abilities for tactical battles. Master dodging and clever combo attacks to succeed! And if you enjoy exploring, you’ll find hundreds of dungeons, each with its own unique challenges and gameplay.

Players can explore a massive world that’s bigger than the previous title

What I’m most excited about is the massive map – it’s 36 times larger than the original game, allowing for exploration of diverse environments like skies, mountains, deserts, and ancient ruins. I’m also really impressed by the detailed character customization, with 200 different options for things like face, hair, and eye color.

The game seems very promising, with classic character classes, an innovative combat system, challenging dungeons and bosses, beautiful graphics, and enjoyable side activities like the Rainbow Road. Plus, NCSOFT plans to release this game, along with two others, internationally starting next year, making it even more exciting.
