NCIS: Tony & Ziva adds Shadow & Bone and Coronation Street vets to the cast

As a devoted fan of the NCIS universe, I am beyond excited for the new spin-off series, NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Having followed the lives of Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David through thick and thin for years, I can’t wait to see how their personal stories continue to unfold after Ziva’s return from Paris with her daughter Tali.

After Ziva David’s unexpected return from Paris to reunite with her daughter and former NCIS partner Tony DiNozzo, she faces numerous personal challenges following her staged death to safeguard her child, Tali. Yet, more complications lie ahead.

A new version of NCIS is currently under production in Budapest. They’ve not only discovered their young character Tali but also brought on board several new cast members with regular roles.

The show “NCIS: Tony and Ziva” will likely only be available on Paramount+ instead of airing on CBS television. Previously announced plans have shifted before, such as with “NCIS: Sydney.” But we’ve also witnessed series like “Criminal Minds: Evolution” staying exclusive to Paramount+. Therefore, it’s possible that “NCIS: Tony and Ziva” may take the same path.

New series regulars joining NCIS: Tony & Ziva

The show is not only internationally produced but also boasts a diverse international cast. According to Deadline, this includes actors from Russia, the UK, and France.

I’m thrilled to pieces about the new addition to my favorite series! Twelve-year-old Isla Gie, hailing from Foundation, will be stepping into an exciting new role. I can’t help but feel a strong connection to this young girl who’s had enough of being underestimated. Despite her age, she exhibits a keen awareness and perception that often surpasses the adults around her. With her parents by her side, she’s about to embark on an adventure across Europe – a chance to show everyone exactly what she’s capable of!

Amita Suman from “Shadow and Bone” is set to join the show, taking on the role of Claudette – the highly skilled and intelligent Chief Technology Officer at Tony’s private security company. She is adept at decoding complex problems and finding solutions with ease.

On “Coronation Street,” Terence Maynard is set to portray the role of therapist, Dr. Lang. His patients confront harrowing experiences, and Dr. Lang assists them in their recovery. Might Dr. Lang serve a pivotal role in helping Ziva and Tony reestablish trust following their past turmoils?

I, Maximilian Osinski, take on the role of Boris – a masterful and enigmatic Russian expat hacker with a knack for anonymity. Society’s politeness holds no appeal to me.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to imagine Nassima Benchicou stepping into the shoes of the enigmatic Martine. In this role, she skillfully navigates the complexities of a conflict, playing both sides to safeguard her own interests. This intriguing dynamic positions her as potentially beneficial to Tony and Ziva, yet harbors the ominous possibility that she could pose a threat as well.

In every production, there’s a role for a computer programmer, and Julian Ovenden from “Bridgerton” fills that spot in “NCIS: Tony & Ziva.” Jonah is an engaging and decisive individual. As he observes the world’s flaws, he devises solutions to mend all of them.

How about a character from the Special Air Service (SAS), such as Lara Rossi portraying Sophie in “The Watch”? She’s always on high alert and will take on a significant role in looking after Tali throughout the show, so we can anticipate plenty of exciting scenes featuring her.

In the end, every European-set series requires an Interpol agent character. James D’Arcy portrays Henry, a dedicated professional who has spent his entire career pursuing global felons. His devotion to his occupation is absolute, leaving no room for a spouse or children.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva will come to Paramount+.
