The return of NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney on CBS has been pushed back from February. This is the latest delay for the NCIS franchise. Previously, CBS had scheduled a mid-season finale for NCIS: Sydney on December 16th, coinciding with episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Origins. However, following a shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia, the network decided to postpone the NCIS: Sydney episode.
President Trump’s State of the Union address is scheduled for February 24th at 9 p.m., which conflicts with the planned mid-season premieres of all three NCIS shows. As a result, CBS has decided to postpone the NCIS premieres to March 3rd, as reported by TVLine.
