NCIS: Hawaii lands DVD release date for Season 3 and Complete Series (as we know it)

As a dedicated fan who has been following NCIS since its inception, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment as summer comes to an end and the anticipated release of NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 seems further away than ever. I’ve watched every episode, from Gibbs’ first case to the latest installment featuring Jane Tennant and her team in the beautiful islands of Hawaii.

As summer comes to an end, so does the arrival of new DVD releases. However, we’ll need to be patient until fall for the Season 3 DVD release of NCIS: Hawaii.

As an ardent fan, I’m still advocating fiercely against the cancellation of NCIS: Hawaii. This series truly deserves to continue airing, outperforming several shows that have been renewed on CBS. It’s hard to swallow the narrative that there simply isn’t room on the schedule when NCIS: Sydney Season 2 is once again securing a linear slot.

As we anticipate a continuation of the series, many fans are considering purchasing the upcoming third season on DVD. Since we already own the first two seasons, it’s natural that we would like to complete our collection with the third one as well.

NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 DVD release date

The third season of NCIS: Hawaii will officially debut on Tuesday, October 8. Unlike many other television series which conclude their seasons in May, the release date for this show is set later in the year. Typically, these releases occur towards the end of summer to prepare for autumn and winter premieres in September and October.

It seems quite clear that the series won’t be rescued for now, but we’re determined to keep trying to revive it. However, this simply indicates it won’t return in autumn 2024.

NCIS: Hawaii: The Complete Series DVD release date

Apart from individual episodes, you can also find a full collection of NCIS: Hawaii, referred to as a “Complete Series boxset.” For now, let’s assume this is its current state, but there’s always a possibility that the series could be rescued at some point in the future.

1. The entire collection includes all three seasons. However, I must express my disagreement over including LL Cool J’s character, Sam Hana, in this set. Despite my deep affection for Sam, his presence was limited to a single season and he wasn’t listed as a regular series cast member. It would have been more fitting to feature Jane and her team on the box. If Sam must be included, perhaps he shouldn’t take such a prominent position.

That’s personal, though.
