Okay, so I’m super excited – the Closed Beta for NBA RISE is finally here! As a basketball fan, I got a first look at this new card strategy game on my phone. It’s officially live on Android right now, and we can play it until July 29, 2026. Definitely checking it out!
NBA RISE, created by Gravity, is the official NBA and NBPA card-collecting game. You can gather cards of real NBA players, create the ultimate team, manage your players, and win by making smart plays.
NBA RISE lets you build NBA lineups with cards and test different strategies
NBA RISE is a team-based basketball game where you act as the coach and general manager. You build a roster with real NBA players and coaches, but instead of playing on the court yourself, you win games by making smart decisions about player lineups, which players to use against specific opponents, how often players play, their fitness levels, and your overall strategy.
Collect cards of your favorite NBA players, build a team, and experiment with different lineups. How well your players work together impacts game outcomes. To stay competitive, you’ll also need to manage things like player energy levels, injuries, and who plays in each game, as well as focus on training.
NBA RISE lets you control the game like a real coach, making substitutions and changing tactics on the fly. You’ll build your dream team and then test its skills against other players online in competitive PvP matches.
The NBA RISE Closed Beta Test is now available on Android devices in a few countries: South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. If you’re in one of these regions, you can download and try out the game from the Google Play Store.
Right now, the beta test is only available in certain areas. GRAVITY hasn’t announced when it will be released to more regions or on iPhones and iPads. Stay tuned for further announcements!
