NBA 2K25 Season 2 Goes Live Ahead of Paid 'Gravity Ball' DLC Launching Tomorrow

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that the gaming industry never ceases to surprise me. The latest addition to NBA 2K25, Gravity Ball, is an intriguing twist on the classic basketball game that has me intrigued and excited.

2K has shared that the upcoming game mode for NBA 2K25, titled ‘Gravity Ball’, will be available tomorrow. This innovative feature is developed by Visual Concepts South, who are also known for creating LEGO 2K Drive. Gravity Ball is a high-speed, online multiplayer game that offers a unique take on basketball, set in an arena-style dome with unconventional rules.

Gravity Ball allows for both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games, with teams aiming to outscore their opponents by striking a sequence of numbered goals. The use of power-ups can make gameplay quite hectic, as you navigate through multiple levels and dodge the opposition’s defense.

Starting tomorrow, Friday, 18th October, the Gravity Ball DLC for NBA 2K25 will be accessible on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. The cost is set at $7.99/£6.99. After your purchase, you can locate it within NBA 2K25’s virtual cityscape.

Currently ongoing is the Season 2 of NBA 2K25, bringing fresh MyCareer, MyTeam, and The W Online content and rewards to mark the beginning of the 2024-2025 NBA season. The highlight of this update features a unique in-game version of Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray’s New Balance TWO WXY v5 shoes.

In addition to NBA 2K25 Season 2, you’ll find new tunes, digital clothing items, a Mummy Costume based on the ‘Stuff the Magic Dragon Mascot’, fresh MyTeam cards, a Season Pass offering 40 levels of rewards, and an extra 40 rewards if you purchase the Season Pro Pass. Enjoy!

The video game titled NBA 2K25 can be played on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers.
