NaVi repeats win over BIG – BLAST Premier Fall Groups
As a seasoned gamer with years of CS:GO under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of déjà vu watching NaVi dominate yet again. It seems like every time these Ukrainian powerhouses take the stage, they deliver a performance that leaves their opponents in the dust.
Different day same exact scoreline.
NaVi successfully defended their win against BIG during the lower bracket finals of the BLAST Premier Fall Groups. After facing a difficult loss to Liquid, the Ukrainian team rebounded with the same scorelines as their previous encounter. This defeat by NaVi will see BIG compete in the BLAST Showdown. Led by Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen, BIG has now secured a spot in the Finals of the Fall Groups tournament.

Map Veto
As expected, the veto resulted in a similar outcome to our previous encounter, with one key distinction – BIG opted for a CT opening on Mirage this time around.
- BIG removed Nuke
- Natus Vincere removed Vertigo
- BIG picked Dust2
- Natus Vincere picked Mirage
- BIG removed Inferno
- Natus Vincere removed Anubis
- Ancient was left over
BIG’s Dust2 False Dawn at Fall Groups – 13-7
BIG’s win over Virtus.Pro was a great result, especially with the Dust2 win that showed signs of a return of the German stronghold on that map. But this game against NaVi failed to impress. In the post-match interview Krimbo was incredibly open about his feelings on the map.
“It’s sad how we lost on Dust2, but you better smile about it than be fully in pain”
Krimbo on Dust2
In the initial round, it was evident that NaVi was extremely self-assured about this match. jL showcased this confidence by deploying a Round 2 R8 Revolver and securing four kills, significantly hindering BIG’s financial resources early on. Control of the economy was crucial for NaVi as they prevented BIG from having any relaxed rounds. In fact, NaVi managed to win a full-economy round, which enabled them to triumph in four consecutive rounds towards the end of the first half.
A pistol win for NaVi meant that they extended their lead to 11 before BIG’s CT gun round. That finally sparked some life for BIG, but it was clearly not enough. NaVi took another 13-7 win on Dust2.
iM the Mirage Specialist? – 13-3
In the opening game of the Fall Groups against BIG, I was the unexpected standout player in our Mirage game. My Romanian teammate racked up an impressive 23 kills in that match and repeated the feat with 21 more in this one. This has maintained his outstanding performance at the Fall Groups, averaging a rating of 1.32. Despite BIG switching their side choice, it had minimal impact on the game’s outcome. rigoN was the sole contributor from the German team, while NaVi dominated the map from start to finish, securing a convincing 13-3 victory.
Navi is set for a second clash against Liquid to determine who claims the Copenhagen qualification. The Na’vi team has stormed out of the gates, with Roland “Ultimate” Tarkomiak delivering strong showings. Will NaVi, like BIG couldn’t, secure the Fall Groups victory?
