Located peacefully within Seoul’s affluent Bundang district, you’ll find F/ABA’s showroom, known as F/ABA Nest. This space was thoughtfully designed by the local design studio flw8studio and takes inspiration from a bird’s nest, embodying F/ABA’s distinctive flowing lines and intricate furniture craftsmanship throughout. Despite its compact size of 30 square meters, the showroom manages to convey a sense of grandeur, with every detail carefully considered to envelop visitors in a comforting warmth while maintaining the brand’s sophisticated elegance.

The main entrance, a striking single structure, exudes boldness with its sculptural deep-toned frame that houses a custom 3M door. On either side, the windows blend harmoniously into the building’s columns, creating a unified architectural design. Large glass panels on the exterior flood the interior with daylight during the day and illuminate the showroom at night, casting F/ABA’s sculpted masterpieces in a warm glow that keeps them prominent within the cityscape.

Within, a reception desk aligns with the slanted building front, offering a distinct spatial orientation upon entrance. The structural pillars subtly mirror the brand’s furniture designs, acting as guiding signs, while the wall opposite the large window contrasts light and texture under a wooden louver “cage” that softly disperses light over textured stucco. A cozy, wood-hued ceiling with integrated indirect lighting gives the impression of height, and each piece of furniture is placed like an individual artwork – all connected by a thoughtful spatial axis and material flow that maintains visual harmony and continuity.
