As a seasoned gamer of wrestling lore, I can confidently say that Axiom and Nathan Frazer are the dynamic duo revitalizing tag team wrestling. Having witnessed countless matches from the golden eras to the present day, I can attest that these two are a cut above the rest in WWE NXT.

Tag team wrestling appears to be experiencing a decline compared to factions and individual performers who are being highlighted. However, this doesn’t imply that there isn’t exciting action taking place in tag team matches. To the contrary, it’s quite the opposite. While the WWE may not be showcasing them on SmackDown or Monday Night Raw, they have a top-notch duo hidden within NXT – Nathan Frazer and Axiom.

To summarize, the tag team wrestling on WWE NXT is strong overall, but the current tag champions are clearly superior compared to the rest of the division. Axiom and Nathan Frazer are exceptional individually. In fact, Axiom has made history by being the first Spaniard and youngest performer to earn a 5-star match rating from Dave Meltzer. Prior to joining WWE, Frazer was highly sought after in wrestling due to his impressive performance in AEW. Since then, he’s been delivering top-notch performances for WWE.

Axiom and Frazer are absolutely thriving as a duo. Their collection boasts several undeniably great tracks. If you recall their early days, their battles with Chase U or MSK were particularly noteworthy. They’ve maintained this high level of performance in their second stint, and there’s plenty of room for further development.

It’s regrettable to note that eventually, Axiom and Frazer may reach their limit within WWE NXT. Fans will likely yearn for their presence on the main roster. Their matches against DIY, Finn Balor, JD McDonaugh, Pretty Deadly, and others showcase their potential as a tag team. If provided the opportunity to shine, Axiom and Frazer would undoubtedly fit in seamlessly. However, it seems that dream may remain distant, given the diminishing importance of titles on a weekly basis.

Worth mentioning, teams who confront Axiom and Frazer often disband. In reality, every team that has taken them on has eventually fallen apart in a hostile manner. For quite some time now, there have been disagreements between Fazer and Axiom, nearly leading to physical altercations due to errors on several instances. It’s an unspoken rule in professional wrestling that top-tier teams will inevitably split up. When that occurs, spectators can expect a thrilling match from two of the best athletes within the organization.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom are an amazing tag team. Their in-ring performances match anything offered by any other teams across promotions. Here’s to hoping they get to show off their abilities on the main roster and on the biggest stages.
