Nathan Cleary and Matildas superstar girlfriend Mary Fowler run errands as she returns from to Australia amid their long distance romance
As I delve into this captivating narrative, I find myself deeply moved by the resilience and determination of Nathan and Mary. Their story is a testament to modern-day love, where two individuals from vastly different worlds navigate their paths, bound together by understanding, trust, and mutual respect for each other’s dreams.
On a recent note, Nathan Cleary and his partner, Mary Fowler, have found themselves back together – however, their schedules kept them apart during Monday’s activities as they attended to different tasks independently.
The Penrith Panthers superstar and his Matildas player love were each in Sydney after Mary flew back into the country.
During a pause from her responsibilities at Manchester City, she’s currently residing in Australia. Recently, she could be spotted enjoying the town, although her partner, Nathan, wasn’t accompanying her on this occasion.
The soccer player paid a casual visit to his neighborhood post office, wearing a white shirt adorned with black text on its front.
The 27-year-old added a pair of grey cut off track pants and slide shoes in a matching tone.
Following a quick visit to the neighborhood post office, Nathan appeared engrossed in his phone, suggesting he may have just mailed a package.
Mary meanwhile was nearby doing a spot of shopping with a male friend in tow.
The young adult, aged 21, seemed to grab some hastily purchased holiday items and could be spotted with a brown shopping bag.
She dressed casually in an all brown ensemble in muted shades which included a baby tee.
The soccer player donned a padded coat on top, coordinating it with a skirt of similar caramel hue.
Mary finished her look with a bright blue boho tote bag and a pair of slip on Ugg wool shoes.
Nathan recently revealed that he’s interested in settling down and starting a family with Mary.
But he also explained the struggles of maintaining a long-distance relationship.
After leading Penrith to their fourth successive championship in the NRL, Cleary and Fowler took some time to spend together following this season’s grand final.
He had jetted over to be with her in England and followed her to Switzerland to see her play for the Matildas.
It seemed like their bond strengthened when Cleary was pictured cradling Katrina Gorry’s daughter, Harper, during Australia’s match against Germany.
It was the first time he’s been pictured spending time with his partner’s closest mates.
Clearly needed to go back home in November so he could undergo a shoulder operation, ensuring he’d be completely fit and ready for the commencement of the NRL season on March 1st of the following year.
However, they’ve both been actively sharing pictures of one another on social platforms, maintaining their long-distance bond.
However, Cleary has admitted that the distance between them is taking a toll.
He shared that it’s been challenging, and frankly, it’s not something he ever anticipated doing, on the Keegan and Company podcast.
It seemed beneficial for us that when we first encountered each other, we immediately started conversing, and it became clear to both of us that this relationship would likely evolve into a long-distance one. If we were committed to pursuing it, that was the path we would have to take.
Occasionally, after coming home, there’s a yearning for a bit of affection, but I believe it has served a purpose in deepening our bond beyond the physical touch and fostering authentic dialogues between us instead.
He mentioned, “We tend to go about our separate ways most of the time, but whenever we cross paths, it’s just the most wonderful experience. I truly value the times we share together.
‘We’re constantly talking on FaceTime or whatever and we sort of find our way through that.’
The Panthers’ playmaker mentioned that he and Fowler have discussed starting a family, but at the moment, the circumstances aren’t favorable for raising a family together.
‘It’s obviously tough that we are both pretty stuck into our sport,’ he said.
I’m keen on starting a family in the future, ideally with Mary by my side. I truly believe she will make an exceptional mother.
‘But yeah, we’ll see. It’s not a rush at the moment but definitely in the future … post footy, I would love to have a little family of my own.’
Cleary said a key to their relationship is that they both understand each other’s worlds.
‘It is and she definitely understands’ Nathan explained.
He went on to say, “Folks might assume we always discuss sports with one another, but there are moments when it’s delightful to simply be together as fellow humans, chatting about topics other than sports.
‘I think probably for both of us, a lot of people want to talk about sport all the time’ he added.
We seem to savor one another’s presence, not just for companionship, but also because there’s a strong bond of mutual support and trust. If any issues arise, we can openly discuss them and exchange thoughts, which has turned out to be quite beneficial. Overall, it’s been a delightful experience.
Lately, Fowler chose not to participate in the national team for the recent matches against Brazil and Taiwan.
She mentioned that she intends to use this period to focus on her recuperation, aiming to rejuvenate both mentally and physically. This way, she can keep presenting her top performance for the team at the club level as well as for her country.
Fowler recently returned to action for Manchester City with a superb goal in their 4-0 trouncing over Leicester.
