Natalie Imbruglia, the iconic Australian singer, showed everyone that age doesn’t define her by celebrating her 51st birthday with a performance in Mexico City on Wednesday.
Natalie Imbruglia performed at La Maraka nightclub, putting on a lively show that proved she still has the same captivating stage presence she had in the late 1990s.
Natalie looked incredibly youthful in a short black dress with eye-catching sheer puff sleeves. She completed the look with black tights and chunky boots.
With flowing, shiny brown hair, she confidently sang her most popular songs, completely owning the stage.
The singer connected with her fans by leaning forward to greet those in the front row. She smiled, gave a peace sign, and playfully laughed as someone took a selfie, showing she’s still friendly and down-to-earth.
Natalie looked stunning while singing, and it was easy to see why her fans still talk about how beautiful she is, even after all these years.
This birthday wasn’t like most – instead of cake and candles, she celebrated by performing for her fans in front of a lively crowd and a live band.
It comes after Natalie surprised fans last year with a new career move away from performing.
I was so excited to find out in March that my favorite pop singer narrated a brand new sleep audiobook! It’s available on Audible, and I’ve already started listening – it’s amazing to fall asleep to her voice.
I’m thrilled to give you a first listen to my new Audible release, “Original Sleep Sound with Natalie.” It features me reading poems by Dorothea Mackellar alongside relaxing sounds of the Australian outdoors, all designed to help you fall asleep.
She said sharing the story was a wonderful experience that deepened her love for her country.
Natalie shared with the Daily Mail that getting enough sleep is key to maintaining her fit physique and radiant, youthful skin.
‘Sleep is probably the best thing,’ she explained.
She explained that she regularly takes short breaks to focus on her health and well-being. But she also believes in balance, allowing herself to indulge in treats and enjoy life’s pleasures without guilt.
She became well-known in the early 1990s for her role as Beth on the show Neighbours. In 1997, she left the series – and her character’s husband, Brad Willis – to pursue a career as a singer.
The album Left Of The Middle sold seven million copies and her single Torn became an instant hit.
Other albums followed although they weren’t as commercially successful as her first.
She returned to music in 2015 with the album Male, a collection of cover songs originally performed by male artists. It reached number 20 on the UK album charts.
She made her first film debut in the 2003 film Johnny English, alongside Rowan Atkinson.
I’ve been a fan of this singer for years, and it’s been amazing to see her expand her talents! She hasn’t just stuck with music – she’s also acted in some really interesting films like ‘Closed for Winter,’ ‘Underdogs,’ and ‘Among Ravens,’ all while still pursuing her passion for singing.
