Natalie Bassingthwaighte says ending her marriage to Cameron McGlinchey was 'scary but rewarding' after going official with new girlfriend Pip Loth

As a lifestyle expert, I can confidently say that Natalie Bassingthwaighte is a testament to personal growth and resilience. Her journey from ending a long-term marriage to embracing a new relationship and becoming an inspirational figure for many, has been nothing short of remarkable.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte admits that ending her marriage to Cameron McGlinchey, while also introducing a new partner, Pip Loth, into the public eye, has been both “terrifying” and “rewarding.”

In the year 2023, Natalie, aged 48, parted ways with her longtime spouse and fellow Rogue Traders bandmate Cameron following 12 years of matrimony. Later in April of this very year, she disclosed a new romantic involvement with Pip Loth.

To the Daily Telegraph, Natalie openly shared that assisting her kids Harper (age 14) and Hendrix (age 11) in adapting to our current situation has not been an easy task. However, she emphasized that, despite its difficulties, it has been a valuable journey for all of them.

In my professional opinion, I’m here to say that unearthing and addressing those deeply ingrained habits and past wounds can indeed feel intimidating. Yet, remember, this journey towards healing is a crucial step in personal growth.

‘But at the same time, it can be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.’

Natalie, poised to appear on the forthcoming Channel Nine reality series The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Version, expressed her sense of pride in the individual she has evolved into.

“In the past year or beyond, it seems to me that life presents us with a great deal – in our personal relationships, friendships, and even our personal growth,” the former Neighbours star expressed.

Additionally, Natalie openly admitted that she was continually evolving, making personal reflection an ongoing priority.

Natalie openly acknowledged that she has been exploring herself deeply for some time now, and she continues to do so without any interruption.

“I continue with my regular therapy appointments, working diligently to understand and manage my complex thoughts, as well as making sense of the journey my life has taken.”

Last August it emerged that Natalie had quietly split from her husband Cameron McGlinchey.

Initially, Natalie concealed her relationship with a woman during an interview with Stellar magazine on November 19th. Later, she unveiled the identity of her partner, Pip, on Instagram ten days after the interview.

She shared that she’s deeply involved in a wonderful romance with a lady whose actions constantly bring joy to her heart and make her incredibly content, according to the magazine.

During her Stellar interview, Natalie confirmed that Cameron was aware of her new relationship.

When the public’s curiosity about her personal matters heightened, Natalie reportedly called her former spouse, distraught and anxious, for fear that her privacy could be compromised.

She disclosed that he had expressed, “It’s alright. Now, this is your truth – embrace it, acknowledge it, make it yours.”

A friend of the soap actress, as well as her former partner, shared with Daily Mail Australia that their bond was not typically structured like a traditional relationship.

They both provided a cheerful environment for their children and managed to balance their time, taking turns with parental duties and other tasks.

‘The way in which they have been able to stay friends has been impressive.’

In 2011, Natalie tied the knot with her partner who she had previously worked together in the band Rogue Traders.

Rogue Traders formed in Melbourne in 2002, with Neighbours star Natalie joining them in 2004.
