Natalie Bassingthwaighte and estranged husband Cameron McGlinchey list Byron Bay home for $3.25m following split
As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that this Byron Bay home is nothing short of spectacular. The property, previously owned by Natalie Bassingthwaighte and her estranged husband Cameron McGlinchey, offers a serene escape amidst lush tropical gardens and manicured lawns.
Natasha Bassingthwaighte and her separated partner, Cameron McGlinchey, have put up their expensive residence in Byron Bay on the market for sale.
48-year-old actress, once known for her role on Neighbours, along with her bandmate from Rogue Traders, purchased a stunning property located in the Byron Bay hills for approximately $2.5 million back in 2020.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the asking price for the five-bedroom house ranges from $3 million to $3.25 million.
Natalie and Cameron managed to relocate from Melbourne before the coronavirus pandemic hit, selling their Brighton home for a reported $4million.
In my account, this exceptional dwelling rests upon a spacious 4,758 square meters of land, complete with an inviting swimming pool and a detached one-bedroom guesthouse.
The renovated main home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-plan living space with wooden floors and feature lighting.
A contemporary kitchen boasts a roomy walk-in pantry, an induction stove top, marble countertops, and a generously sized kitchen island.
It also opens to a spacious undercover outdoor living area, and the property is surrounded by 1.17 acres of privacy, tropical gardens and a manicured lawn.
In May, the report stated that, having put the property up for rent, they were compelled to reduce the weekly rental price from $2850 to $2500.
Natalie and Cameron split, after 13 years of marriage, in August 2023.
According to reports from The Herald Sun, the duo separated towards the end of 2022 but have been making efforts to work collaboratively in raising their two kids.
The pair, who married in 2011, share daughter Harper, 13, and son Hendrix, 10.
In April of this year, Natalie first appeared in public alongside her new companion, Pip Loth, during a casual excursion in Queensland.
She was spotted strolling with her non-binary lover as the pair ran errands with a male pal.
In a delightful display of affection, I found myself giggling and chatting effortlessly with Pip as we strolled hand-in-hand across an open-air parking lot, our hearts skipping beats in unison.
Prior to discovering their romantic connection, Natalie and Pip collaborated on the Melbourne staging of Jagged Little Pill in the year 2021.
In a 2023 conversation with Stellar magazine, Natalie finally shared that she was in a relationship with a woman. Ten days afterward, she announced her partner’s name, Pip, on Instagram.
She shared with the magazine that she is happily involved with a woman whose actions continually bring joy to her heart and make her truly content.
