NASCAR advisor completely embarrasses Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys

As a gamer who’s spent countless hours navigating the virtual gridiron and NASCAR tracks alike, I can’t help but marvel at Alvin Kamara’s remarkable multitasking prowess. The guy’s not just shattering records on the football field or guiding his fellow racers off it, he’s also making waves in the world of NASCAR as their Chief Engagement Officer!

During the 2021 season, NASCAR appointed Alvin Kamara, the running back for New Orleans Saints, as their first-ever Advisor for Growth and Engagement – a role he refers to as “Chief Engagement Officer”. This appointment came only a few months after Alvin’s Louisiana juice and smoothie chain, The Big Squeezy, sponsored Ryan Vargas’ car in an early-season Xfinity Series race at the Daytona International Speedway road course.

2020 marked a significant increase in Kamara’s fascination with NASCAR, as his close friend Bubba Wallace and other drivers became more actively involved in racial justice movements. These efforts led to the contentious prohibition of the Confederate flag at NASCAR race venues and Wallace racing a car emblazoned with “Black Lives Matter” in a Cup Series event at Martinsville Speedway.

In spite of certain significant legal troubles that originated from an occurrence at a Las Vegas nightclub earlier this year, Kamara continues to function in his capacity as an advisor for NASCAR, with his position having grown more influential in recent times.

His role as a Saints running back has also taken on an increased level of responsibility as well.

During the Sunday afternoon playoff race of the Cup Series at Watkins Glen International, Kamara instead made a spectacle of himself, causing embarrassment to the Dallas Cowboys and their owner Jerry Jones in their very own stadium.

In the AT&T Stadium located in Arlington, Texas, Kamara scored four touchdowns and accumulated a combined 180 yards from scrimmage, contributing to a dominating 44-19 victory against the Cowboys, who initially had a 6.5 point advantage.

With four touchdowns, he outscored Dallas on his own. His 180 yards came on 20 carries (115 yards) and two catches (65 yards). Three of his touchdowns came on the ground, and one came through the air from quarterback Derek Carr.

In his last matchup against a Mike Zimmer defense, which was in December 2020, he accumulated 172 total yards and scored six touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings.

Even though pundits often refer to Jones and his Cowboys as having a promising season, they made minimal changes to their roster compared to other playoff contenders during this year’s offseason, despite their claims of going “all in”.

Watching their 16-match home winning streak in the regular season come to a crushing end with a 25-point defeat at the hands of an unassuming team that hasn’t qualified for the playoffs since Drew Brees retired must have served as a jarring reminder, especially due to Kamara’s performance.
