NASCAR: 2025 Bowman Gray Clash qualifying updates, full starting lineup

The location for the preseason Clash exhibition race has been switched once more. Instead of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which was used for only three seasons, the event will now take place at Bowman Gray Stadium. This iconic quarter-mile oval track has not hosted a NASCAR Cup Series race since 1971.

The practice speeds set the starting positions for four qualifying races on Saturday at the Winston-Salem oval. The top five from each race move on to the main event, while those who don’t qualify can try again in Sunday’s Last Chance Qualifier.

In case drivers don’t qualify for the race, the one who finished highest in the 2024 points standings will secure a spot as the 23rd driver in the 200-lap Cook Out Clash. This implies that Joey Logano from Team Penske, the current series champion, has already guaranteed his place in the main event without needing to qualify further.

Full qualifying order/groups can be found here.
