A new video has been released showcasing Deidara, one of the most unpredictable members of the Akatsuki, and his life before joining the infamous group. The video offers a look at his backstory and early days.
The latest update to Naruto Mobile introduces Deidara from the “Akatsuki Creation” as a new playable ninja. He’ll be available as an A-Rank character starting March 20, 2026. This version of Deidara emphasizes his explosive abilities, reflected in his design. A new animated trailer has been released showcasing his power before he officially joins the game’s roster of shinobi.
Deidara Gets New Trailer Before Official Release in Naruto Mobile
A new promotional video features Katsuhiko Kawamoto returning to voice Deidara from the Naruto Shippuden anime. The video highlights Deidara’s intense dedication to his art, showing him carefully crafting one of his signature clay creations amidst a backdrop of huge explosions. He then delivers his well-known line: “Art is an explosion.”
Even though Deidara’s release date is getting closer, we still don’t know much about how he’ll play. Like with other characters, we expect to learn his full moveset and backstory soon. Deidara will become available on March 20th, replacing Mitsuki (Sage Mode) as the featured ninja in the A-Rank banner.
A-Rank ninjas are some of the most popular characters players try to get in the game. When a new, special character is released, players can try to obtain them through a luck-based system. Instead of simply unlocking the character, players usually need to collect pieces of them by playing the game, and then combine those pieces to make the character available for use in all game modes.
Naruto Mobile Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary
The new Deidara character is now available in Naruto Mobile, a popular mobile game that launched in December of last year. Created by Tencent’s MoreFun Studio with permission from Bandai Namco, this 2.5D action game has become a huge success since it first came out in 2015.
Even though Naruto Mobile was initially released only in China, it’s become popular worldwide. This is largely due to gameplay videos and promotional content that include the original Japanese voice acting and impressive animation. Recently, the game launched a new promotional video.
The game will be adding Deidara this month, alongside Nara Shikadai and a younger Kisame Hoshigaki. In April, the ‘Wandering Samurai’ series will get two new characters: Danzo Shimura, appearing as a ‘Wandering Ronin’, and Torune Aburame.
