It is truly heartening to witness the journey of love and self-acceptance unfold in the lives of these remarkable women, Natt and Jacobs. Their stories are a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of self-discovery.

Narelda Jacobs walked down the aisle with her bride Karina Natt earlier this month.

On Friday, the newlywed pair attended the opening night of Gaslight at the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Sydney, marking their first public appearance as a married couple on the red carpet.

On television, the Channel 10 hostess and her spouse appeared deeply enamored during their limelight-filled honeymoon stage.

The women exchanged warm looks and laughed together while posing for photos while holding hands.

As a dedicated admirer, let me express that I couldn’t help but notice Narelda standing out in a stylish ensemble reminiscent of equestrian charm. The vibrant orange and rich brown hues of her shirt transported me back to the retro era, leaving an undeniable impact on the crowd.

She also included a snug-fitting pair of camel-hued pants and sleek black leather boots to her ensemble.

The TV personality opted for a pristine, vibrant makeup style featuring a rosy cheek tint and a soft pink matte lip color.

She finished off her outfit by wearing earrings that coordinated with her pants, and she opted for minimal accessories except for her wedding ring.

Karina too sported an on-trend look, donning a long-sleeved olive green top and a pair of stylish black trousers that flared out at the bottom, complemented by leather boots.

18 months ago, the couple exchanged vows at a lively wedding ceremony held in Sydney during early August. This joyous occasion took place shortly after their initial date.

In the photos uploaded to Instagram, a 48-year-old individual appeared to be enjoying themselves immensely, with friends, relatives, and notable attendees present.

They exchanged vows, standing under a large floral arch adjacent to a spacious window, which seemed to be situated on a higher level.

Narelda and her newly-wed partner both selected elegant white outfits. The famous television personality picked a form-fitting dress adorned with fur trim from the upscale Australian brand, Zhivago.

Meanwhile, Karina donned a Zhivago dress that fit snugly around her body and showcased trendy, elevated shoulders.

Notable attendees included Melissa Leong, a prominent figure from MasterChef Australia, and Kylie Kwong, a well-known culinary personality.

Also in attendance was comedian Luke McGregor and his wife Dr Amy Thunig-McGregor.

Following the intimate vows ceremony, the brides changed outfits to party into the night.

The new wives donned matching opalescent disco frocks with plunging necklines and a 1980s style silhouette.

Natt is the chief of staff for South Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young.

Jacobs was previously in a long-term relationship with filmmaker Stevie Cruz-Martin.

It’s uncertain when Jacobs and Cruz-Martin ended their relationship, but currently, the film and TV director seems to reside in London.

She debuted her new romance in an Instagram post in early 2023, sharing a photo of the two women kissing during Sydney World Pride celebrations.

In the caption, Jacobs disclosed that they had their first date in February of that year, making their relationship public only four weeks after they had become a couple.

‘Can’t ignore the numbers. First date 23/02/23. One month later 23/03/23,’ she wrote.

Natt first appeared on Jacobs’ Instagram feed on March 4 that year.

2021 saw me, a passionate advocate, confessing to The Australian that my upbringing instilled in me the belief that being gay was morally incorrect and that I’d face eternal damnation for my sexual orientation.

She also said she wanted her daughter Jade Dolman to have a more tolerant and accepting childhood than the one she had.

She expressed that she desired Jade to develop an open-minded perspective on life; however, this wasn’t the case due to their strongly rooted Christian background. They held the belief that individuals identifying as gay would end up in hell.

Growing up in a traditional Christian household, Jacobs hid her true identity as a lesbian until she turned 21. Prior to that, she grappled with accepting her sexual orientation.

She shared with The Sydney Morning Herald in February 2021 that she hid her sexuality very deeply due to our upbringing.

Her mother Margaret has unequivocally expressed that she finds issue with her daughter’s sexuality, yet continues to express love for her regardless.

She and her mother often engage in fascinating discussions on a wide range of topics, yet there are specific subjects they choose not to address, as she pointed out.

‘I would love to be able to talk about relationship stuff with my mum, but I know that I will never be able to.’
