Naomi Watts says best friend Nicole Kidman checked in before sex scene with her ex Liev Schreiber on The Perfect Couple

As a close confidante, I shared that before collaborating with my former partner and the father of my children, Liev Schreiber, my dearest friend Nicole Kidman extended a thoughtful gesture to touch base with me.

She revealed that Nicole reached out to her before taking the role opposite her ex.
Naomi, aged 55, told Entertainment Weekly during the Toronto International Film Festival that they are constantly keeping in touch and have a strong friendship.
Adding: ‘That was very kind of her to do that.’
Nicole and Liev play a married couple in The Perfect Couple – which is on streamer Netflix.
The series is based on the book The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand.
Naomi revealed during the interview she hadn’t yet but plans on watching it.
She excitedly shared, “I can’t wait to see this new release everyone is talking about. It just came out, only a couple of days ago.
‘I’m very much looking forward to it. I have seen the trailer. It looks fantastic.’
Naomi and Liev were in a relationship for 11 years, starting from 2005 up until their separation in 2016. However, despite being together for so long, they chose not to get married.
They are parents to two children: Sasha, 17, and Kai, 15.
Naomi went on to marry Billy Crudup in June 2023, after dating for six years.
Naomi and Billy, 56, met in 2017 on the set of their series Gypsy.
Liev married former pageant queen Taylor Neisen, 32, in July 2023, after dating for six years.
Liev and Taylor welcomed their first child together, daughter Hazel in August 2023.
