Naomi Watts and ex Liev Schreiber join their spouses to celebrate son Sasha’s high school graduation in Central Park

On a sunny Thursday in Central Park, Naomi Watts and her former spouse Liev Schreiber came together once more to honor their son Sasha’s achievement of high school graduation.

At the event, the actress, 56 (who parted ways with Liev in 2016), was accompanied by her husband Billy Crudup, also 56. On the other hand, Liev Schreiber, 57, came with his spouse Taylor Neisen, who is 32 years old.

On the special day, the delighted father additionally posted a heartwarming photo, capturing him together with the graduate and loved ones.

The image displayed seventeen-year-old Sasha, smartly dressed in a gray suit, standing amidst his parents and their partners.

The picture featured Sasha, aged 17, looking sharp in a grey suit, surrounded by his parents and their companions.

Liev, who is a proud father along with Taylor to their 20-month-old daughter Hazel, wrote this exclamation in his post.

Additionally, their second child, Kai Schreiber, who is 16 years old, also became part of the family gathering, following recent discussions by Liev regarding his feelings upon learning that Kai identified as transgender.

LIev’s graduation announcement garnered remarks from well-known friends such as Pablo Schreiber, a renowned actor from Halo, who posted three applause emojis instead of words.

Naomi too posted a picture showing only Liev, Sasha, and herself celebrating the freshly graduated individual in a warm hug.

‘Congrats!’ she wrote over the snap. 

The family were also spotted walking through Central Park together.

At one point Liev was seen catching up with Billy, as Naomi chatted with Taylor 

Naomi looked chic in a multi-color flowing dress for the occasion.

The King Kong star accessorized with a straw hat, sunglasses and a pair of black open toe heels.

Her husband sported a navy suit with dress shoes and a pair of sunglasses.

Liev presented a striking image, dressed in a navy suit complemented by a crisp, open-necked shirt. He accessorized elegantly with brown leather loafers and wore a classic vintage camera slung casually across his chest.

Taylor looked stylish during the summer, sporting a blue denim dress and matching brown sandals. She kept her sun-kissed blonde locks tied up neatly in a bun.

Sasha’s sibling Kai wore a bohemian white dress with brown boots.

Liev was joined by Sasha at the Cirque Du Soleil New York City premiere of Luzia in March.

When queried about the sensation of strolling the red carpet alongside him, he shared with People: “It was odd. I had a slight sense of unease stepping into the circus with him since, well, that’s typically an activity for children.

It seems as though he isn’t my child any longer; he has transformed into a man, which means our relationship has taken on a new dynamic.

Liev and Naomi were together for 11 years before their split in 2016. 

Since then, they’ve maintained a very friendly relationship as they co-parent their children.

Last month the pair also reunited to celebrate their son Sasha’s milestone prom night in America.

In photos posted on social media, the ex-pair gleamed joy while standing together with Sasha, creating an ideal family snapshot that hinted at harmony within their family.

This tender instant revealed an uncommon peek into the strong bond of their familial relationship, underscoring the ex-pair’s persistent dedication towards co-parenting their kids harmoniously.

In the meantime, Kai, their other child, publicly identified as transgender on Instagram in the year 2025. This announcement followed Kai’s runway debut for Valentino during the Paris Fashion Week held in March earlier that same year.

The rising model and activist expressed heartfelt thanks, stating they feel incredibly fortunate to have such strong support as a young transgender woman.

‘But there are so many boys and girls like me who can’t say they have the same blessing.’

Our task involves rallying behind and aiding those precious young lives, and the Aliforney Center serves as our ally in this endeavor.

At the Ali Forney Center’s A Place at the Table gala held at The Glasshouse, Kai was accompanied by her father, Liev Schreiber.

‘This isn’t just about representing the trans community,’ he said.

‘These individuals are facing rejection. They encounter the most unyielding aspect of human nature that we as a society present to them, and unfortunately, some of them aren’t making it through.’

‘Remember that point as we prepare to venture out, dress up, and make ourselves noticeable,’ Schreiber emphasized.

‘That what we’re doing is actually raising money for a community that desperately needs it.’

‘Kai is embracing her space in the trans community like never before. Such a fighter,’ Liev said.
