Naomi Campbell pays her respects to the late Pope Francis as she visits his tomb in Rome: ‘You are so missed’
Over the weekend, Naomi Campbell made a visit to Rome, Italy, where she took time to honor the memory of the late Pope Francis at his resting place.
On Sunday, the supermodel, who is 55, shared on her Instagram that she felt a profound sense of appreciation as she left Rome, Italy.
The fashion icon made an impressive debut and documented some moments of her trip within the breathtaking Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore.
Pope Francis died in April this year at the age of 88.
Naomi posted a picture next to a sacred site with this caption: “I couldn’t pass up the chance to visit Pope Francis in Rome. Before I leave, I feel a profound sense of gratitude. You are greatly missed. My heart is filled with reverence, sincerity, and deep yearning. ❤️
Additionally, the star posted a photograph showing them together with a contingent of enthusiastic Italian law enforcement officials, who might have been ardent admirers of the model.

After the well-known British celebrity posted an uncommon photo of her kids, they were seen having a fun day in the forest the previous week.
Naomi revealed last year that she welcomed both of her children via surrogate, in 2021 and 2023.
In the delightful Instagram posts by Naomi, she is pictured walking hand-in-hand with her little ones while they participate in a group hug around trees.
Other snaps showed Naomi strolling through the woods with her son as she wore a white smock dress.
In the forest, with trees as my embrace – enveloped by the rhythm of my pulse, my gratitude, and my dear ones – I penned it down, expressing my love. ❤️❤️
2021 marked the occasion when Naomi welcomed her first child at age 50, an event that was showcased on the cover of Vogue as she cradled her newborn.
In a stunning turn of events, the fashion icon left the globe astounded when she unexpectedly revealed that she had given birth to a daughter and a son in 2023, with the model yet to disclose their names publicly.
Previously, I made it clear that my daughter isn’t adopted and, for the record, I haven’t given birth myself. Yet, despite these circumstances, my kids hold a profound significance in my life.

Telling The Times: ‘My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future.’
Naomi clarified that she didn’t seek a father figure for her children, instead finding joy and fulfillment as a solitary mom.
When questioned about using a surrogate, she admitted: “Yes, I did. I aspire for a brighter future for my kids.
‘They are 110 per cent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.’
The news of her daughter’s arrival fueled much discussion, as many suspected she had opted for a surrogacy, which is commonly chosen by older celebrities when having children.
In the months preceding her child’s arrival, I didn’t notice any conspicuous signs of pregnancy on her, which made her journey all the more remarkable.
Naomi also spoke of her concern that younger generations are not interested in having children.
She also insisted parenthood is always ‘worth it’, no matter how difficult the circumstances.

She mentioned that many young women feel that having children is too costly and they might not wish for them. In response, she expressed her belief that their feelings would change, and they would eventually desire motherhood.
‘Economically speaking, times are hard, but if my mom could make ends meet with no resources at all, then I believe we can too. It’s all worth it, simply incredible.’
She went on to say: ‘It’s crucial that we rely on the youth to shape our future. I place greater faith in their actions to make the right decisions.’
In another part of the interview, she shared that unlike her, she wouldn’t allow her daughter to enter the professional world at age 15. This is a contrast to her own experience, which began when she did her initial cover shoot during her teenage years.
15-year-old model, initially flown overseas for her debut Elle magazine shoot in New Orleans, now expresses unease about starting work that young if her own child were in the same situation.
The mother-of-two said: ‘I’m not sure I would let her start working at 15. It’s a ruthless world.’
