As a seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from the mundane to the extraordinary. However, when I stumbled upon the images you’ve shared, I was taken aback by the sheer energy and charisma they exude.

At the Roberto Cavalli Milan Fashion Week event held on Wednesday, Naomi Campbell drew focus wherever she went.

54-year-old supermodel claimed a prime spot for watching the designer’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear fashion presentation.

Naomi absolutely dazzled in a striking green-and-black crushed velvet gown, accessorized with bold sunglasses and stylish snakeskin-patterned shoes.

Before settling down next to Eva Cavalli, the trendsetter struck a pose for some snapshots, then watched as the models strutted their stuff on the runway.

Also attending the show was Normani who put on a racy display in a slinky minidress.

Eva Herzigova, Natasha Poly, Karen Elson, Joan Smalls, Isabeli Fontana strutted down the catwalk.

The Milan Fashion Week is set to take place from Tuesday, the 17th of September, all the way until Monday, the 23rd, offering a grand total of 57 fashion shows and 69 presentations.

Notable brands such as Prada, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Emporio Armani, and Versace are anticipated to present their newest collections.

Prominent figures missing are Giorgio Armani, who revealed their latest collection in New York, and Tom Ford, who will opt for a presentation rather than a show. This change comes after the departure of Peter Hawkings and ahead of Haider Ackermann’s anticipated debut as the new creative director for AW25.

During Milan Fashion Week, Giorgia Feroldi (Vogue Italia contributor) mentioned to Vogue Business that being there is usually associated with having very little downtime due to the overwhelming schedule, as it’s the busiest among the ‘big four’ fashion weeks.

With fewer major debuts on the horizon and an extra day added for respite, there’s a noticeably lighter atmosphere, reminiscent of past seasons. Here’s hoping this will provide an opportunity for emerging designers to shine.

Adrian Appiolaza from Moschino is set to reveal his second women’s fashion line for the brand, following a successful men’s wear presentation in June.
